Enable uploading of folders via OneDrive.com
Allow to upload whole folders for OneDrive on the web. It should be possible to upload folders by drag and drop from the desktop to the browser window.
Upload folder is now available in Chrome for OneDrive.
You can read more at the OneDrive blog here: https://blog.onedrive.com/onedrive-now-supports-10-gb-files/
No no no no no no no it does NOT work at all. Boom you fail at everything. Don't care if I have the free account, way to make me not wait to pay for the service
I can resurrect this, by saying no it does not work... In chrome it only creates a folder structure and randomly picks the files to upload.

It's not working with Edge. The directory tree gets created, but only a few files are uploaded. The empty folders have to be filled individually.
I guess that's a vote of no confidence for Edge, when even MS designers don't use it to test MS products.

It works with Edge now, too.
Why only Chrome?
Also, used the function and it uploaded very "quickly" and indicated it was completed, however, it wasnt actually finished and not all files uploaded. Seems incomplete
BOOM! IT'S STILL NOT DONE
A big shame for Microsoft. It can't give folder upload feature on its own browser.
If you fixed it on chrome a year ago, how come you can't fix it for safari or ie.... I am quitting one drive!!!!!!!
"Boom! It's done"? Not hardly. Offering it on one browser does not designate this as complete.
It's now almost a year later and you can't even offer it on your own browser? What a joke!
Useless with corporate networks that only allow ie on it's equipment.
Can you please add support for other browsers? How hard is it really?
why doesn't this work with ie?
Yes please - I second "Toni's" comment below.
I am using Win 8.1x64 & IE11 - really need to be able to upload complete folder to OneDrive on the web . . .NOT just via the sync folder on the desktop.
Please add support for IE too. This is a must in order to keep up with the competitor cloud storages and/or gain new users.
Actually, this works in Opera as well, just tested it. I guess sharing engine with Chrome is responsible.
Now we should post to IE suggestion box to allow for folder uploads, or do you think this could be requested by OneDrive team to IE team inside the company? I see a request from one team to the other as a higher priority than a user request...
And no IE?????????
Is this available for IE?

this one would be great. most People still store stuff in folders. I see this requested a lot in Schools when they have collaborated or gathered work and need to upload a folder containing files and other folders With more files.
Or if you get a photo folder from a friend With photos organized by e.g. 2014 -> Paris + Brussels + Amsterdam
