make the search work like explorer search

It would be great to search files by mimeType!!! It will close several case to search music, photos, video and any other types at one request...

Allow searching for a file type in a selected directory rather than "search everywhere"

I really suggest you to keep the last sorting view in each folder because every time I need to find a specific file I have to change the sorting view.

Make finding documents easier by allowing single search throughout all files in a single drive.

Pls enable spotlight search to allow the user to search bookmarks, reading list & history? I have numerous of the above items & cannot use them as I can't search for them. Thanks

Often when I want to upload a file or move one, the destination folder is deep in my folder structure (or I can't remember exactly where it is). In Google Drive, when choosing to upload or move, I can search my drive to find and select the destination folder. This saves A LOT of time. Thanks for your consideration.

Please add the ability to restrict the OneDrive document searches to file names only. The search appears to search the entire content of documents which is fine for some cases but there are times I am looking for something only in the name of a file.

Onedrive search capability is quite impressive, but it does not find content within audio and video files. Voice recognition technology could extract the text within video and audio and feed the search engine. You could find songs typing the lyrics, or find family video using a conversation.

When having a large collection of files/folders you sync, it is currently not possible to see at a glance which files have been synchronized and which not.

My idea is to make the sync status available to Windows search as a property. This way it would be very easy to make a search for synchronized/unsynchronized files.

Please make the initial search results shown as a dropdown in a sizable window or provide some way to make it wider. At the present time it is too small to display many long file names.

It would be nice to be able to search for whole folders using the search function. For example, I might want to find the folder for a project I'm working on with a group of friends to find all that information at once, not just specific files.
