  1. The ablity to scan both Onedrive and HD to remove duplicate files. Music folder is a mess!

    There is a real need for a quick ability to easily clean out duplicates.

  2. Use voice recognition to extract text from audio and video to feed the search engine

    Onedrive search capability is quite impressive, but it does not find content within audio and video files. Voice recognition technology could extract the text within video and audio and feed the search engine. You could find songs typing the lyrics, or find family video using a conversation.

  3. Facial recognition

  4. Expand and document the search syntax

    I love using search on OneDrive to search within documents, (tagged) images and even within the contents of the OneNote notebooks. Although it's great to use full-text search, there are a lot of useless results because of it when you have a large set of documents.

    I noticed that phrase searching works! (a search for a phrase between quotes) but there isn't a documented list of the search syntax. I would suggest to expand the (advanced) search syntax to at least enable excluding specific folders, photos or specific filetypes.

  6. Sorting files

    Hi
    I really suggest you to keep the last sorting view in each folder because every time I need to find a specific file I have to change the sorting view.

  7. Show folders in search results

    It would be nice to be able to search for whole folders using the search function. For example, I might want to find the folder for a project I'm working on with a group of friends to find all that information at once, not just specific files.

  8. Search results

    It would be nice if when I do a search for a file and find it's not what I'm looking for, that when I hit the "back" button, it would take me back to the previous search results and not the home page. The way it is now, I have to type in my search again.

  9. Searches

    After doing a search and opening one of the resulting items, I would like to be able to return to the original found items to continue my review to narrow down my choice without having to start the search over again. Also when first entering the search mode it would be helpful to see recently searched terms.

  10. Use FILENAME-only in Search

    File Search is not useful. I have a document titled "Master." I tap Search and type "master" and receive 75 files.

    Please provide and option to search FILENAME only.

    Windows 10 search, I type "Mas" and the file is the first choice. When in the Folder, I type "ma" which takes me to the file I'm looking for.

    For example search for a day of the month...April 24...regardless of year. Or all photos from 2013. or April 2013. I can do this in Photo Gallery, but since I'm already here...

  17. Search

    Your search doesn't seem to work on file names, which makes it pretty useless. Additionally, since there his no obvious way to display file names, I can't really find it manually either.

    Dropbox is much easier to use.

  18. File Search Improvement (iOS)

    When conducting a file search and selecting a file from the search results, when hitting the back button (top left hand corner of screen) it would be helpful to return to the SEARCH RESULTS rather than the file structure.

  20. Search Bar

    When I attach a file saved on OneDrive to an email (using the mail application on iPhone iOS 9.2) I have to scroll through all files to find it. I would love it if the search bar were available so I could type the file's name and find it more quickly.
