Offline folders on Android
Currently, there is a option for offline files (Thanks!). I would like to add option to sync whole folders, or select all files in it for offine access at once.
Thanks again for the suggestion. We shipped this at the end of April to all paid customers. Please go check it out!
This does not work. I cannot access any of the so-called 'offline' files from any other apps on my device. Completely worthless to have 'offline' files or folders on android. Vote here to make this actually be at all useful. https://onedrive.uservoice.com/forums/262982-onedrive/suggestions/32034382-make-onedrive-offline-files-on-android-accessible
Paid customers only? Thanks... going to uninstall OneDrive, Word, Excel and the rest all along. I bet it works just fine if I use GoogleDrive instead.
The only explanation I have is they don't care. Neither do the Android OS developers. In my day bugs like this would have been considered blocking bugs, and management would want an explanation of how it happened.

The feature may as well be non-existent. It may be done, but it was done incorrectly. I have OneDrive installed on my SD Card for my Android phone. I have data set to save to SD card. What does OneDrive do with the files it "saves" for offline? Puts it into INTERNAL STORAGE! That is so wrong on so many levels. I needs to save for offline use about 4GB more than I have of internal storage.
Microsoft, I just left the Windows Mobile platform because of the incompetence of the app platform, please don't make me find alternatives for all the Microsoft services and take my money elsewhere for that, too.
1. Doesn't work great.
2. Need to select where the folders are copied to.
3. Files need to be in a standard format not some special OD format. Mobile device cant "use" these files so it is useless, for example a directory that copies images on a computer hard drive should be discoverable by the Android photos app, it isnt
Works great, but there are 2 issues. 1. What I was hoping for this was the the structure and hierarchy to remain. Currently I sync onedrive to my sd card with a 3rd party app, but with the paid version of one drive I feel it should be possible to "sync" folder structures, in the same way as on the PC, not a "save offline" feature. This way I can put my music on one drive and then sync the music folder offline, and then listen to this music on native android apps, such as Samsung music in the case of a Galaxy. 2. If forces the download to internal memory, we surely need the option for syncing files to external SC cards? This would be an amazing feature, say if your phone is lost and there is no back up, your onedrive contains all the data. You simply get a new phone and sync the folders again. Maybe I need to submit a separate request for these features.
Nice work, first attempt worked well... Now just got to select what I need to make available offline :-)

ok brb uninstalling OneDrive
Awesome, looking forward to it
Any information about the progress & when it is going to be available?
This is really elementary function!!
365 is useless to our company without this function.
really? i'm a paying 365 user and if u want me to stay u must introduce this feature now! since years it is completely incomprehensible why MS ignores "offline working people".
******** what a lie

Is there any time scale on when this feature may be available?
yes, please add offline folders
This option needs to be added ASAP for Microsoft to continue to be competitive with Google & others
Waiting for it until my paid space expire. OneDrive competitor already have it!

Please get this done! With android tablet's like Pixel C and Lenovo Yoga Book, being able to access entire folders offline is becoming a game changer for mobile platforms. Please enable this!
