Check in / Check out for the "new" OneDrive interface

When working within the "new" OneDrive interface I cannot find a way to check-in or check-out documents for editing. As a work around I have

        I totally agree with below comment. New One drive should have such Check in and Check out option enable. It will make user life easy while handling documents on Onedrive.

        Hi Team

        Since our document management app is based on the One Drive, this missing feature is really a road block in migrating from OneDrive For Business to the new OneDrive. Microsoft team, should consider allowing check-in and check-out in new OneDrive the way it happens in the older version.

        To be able to check in / check out docs from the familiar explorer interface would be a real enhancement for the user experience.

        The new onedrive client doesn't support check in/check out. Files open as read only. The groove.exe client supported check in/check out. Please fix this in the new client or make groove.exe available again.
