Pin files/folders to Windows 10 Mobile startscreen
Re-enable the option to pin files or folders to the startscreen. First files was removed and in the latest version it became impossible to pin Folders to the Windows 10 Mobile startscreen. This was possible. Pinning is THE distinguishing and superhandy feature of Windows Phone/10 Mobile. Why is this gone????!!!!!!

Thanks again for the suggestion. Please check out the latest update!

Please add this back in. It was a killer feature for OneDrive in WinPhone 8.1 and one of the reasons I didn't move to Android. It's unconscionable that you can't add it back in. I mean, how hard is it really? Highly practical and contributes significantly to productivity.
Please fix or we'll have to start spamming your LinkedIn inbox Douglas :)

Hi Douglas, any update on this? Pinning files is more usefull then folders in some cases!

Just to support Roger's request, I have just upgraded my phone to Windows 10 and the removal of files pinned to the start screen is the first thing (and the most annoying thing) I have discovered.

Hi Douglas. I don't quite understand why you closed this? Pinning folders works but pinning file still do not work? The Pin to start is grey when i select a picture or other file? This option I used far more then pinning folder?! Version 17.10.1

Why this was removed in the first place is beyond me. It's like they're trying to remove everything that was great about windows phone.

It seems like they are removing the things that are unique and powerful about Windows Phone. The ability to pin (to the start screen) deep links into apps is so powerful.
