Add Support for Commas (,) in File & Folder Names (Currently replaced with Carets (^J))
Currently, file & folder names containing commas (,) are auto-replaced with carets (^ or ^J) despite the fact commas are not listed as unsupported special characters.
Please add support for commas in file & folder names.

Has anyone found a solution to this?

If it is a valid filename in Windows it should be a valid file name in OneDrive. If not, things just break everywhere.
Why is my Vote button greyed out?

Just noticed this with Office365 in a University license. We have files generated with scientific names which need the commas to make sense.

Any update to this? It's been happening to me as well. I'm on an Office365 subscription with the latest installs as of 1/16/18 on a Surface Pro 3. It also happens to me at my employment where we have an enterprise subscription to Office365, completely update.

This is happening when we share OneDrive files through Office 2016 when using File > Share > Email > Send as. Commas are not replaced with carets if the Office Upload Center setting "Use Office to sync" is unchecked. Our work around to continue using Office to sync is considering a comma as an unsupported character in OneDrive.
