Make it ease to copy files from OneDrive for Business to Group's documents folder
When using OneDrive for Business in Office 365, it's easy to copy/move files to another folder within OneDrive using the web interface. Using the web interface it's impossible to copy/move files from the user's OD4B to an Office 365 Group documents folder directly. To copy or move a file from the OD4B to a group's document folder, you have to download the file from OD4B and upload it to the group's document folder, or sync the OD4B and the group's document folder and move/copy the file locally.
My suggestion is to add the option to the web interface for the OD4B and group's document folder to easy copy/move files between the OD4B and group's document folder (and visa versa).

This is now fully in production. Please make sure you have the latest user experience turned on and take a look!

Drag & drop files / folders from OD4B to Group locations in the same O365 tenant? Obvious functionality surely? What do you folks at MS spend your time doing? Making a big deal over rights, permissions, sharing etc and ignoring the obvious. Seems odd!

While this feature is turned on and works for my organization, if the group was created very recently, you are not able to 'copy' a OneDrive document over to the newly created group. The group does not appear in the list of groups to choose from - even if you click 'Browse Sites.' How long is the time frame after a group is created for this option to be available to the added members? As the creator, the ability to copy a OneDrive doc to the Group is immediate, but for members, not so much. I've tested this half a dozen times to see if the time frame improves, but so far, it's averaging 24 hours for added members to have the ability to copy OneDrive docs over to a newly created Group. In a school environment, time is of the essence.

read this article, a feature needs to be turned off or on by your admin. This might solve your problems

Does anyone at MS ever read this? Trying to email files from phone to 365 then move them to OneDrive. Having same issues as the rest of you. 'Can you hear me now?!!!'

You can move files to from one drive to a group... you need to select "Copy to" under the three dot menu...

Microsoft-- Google Docs made this sort of stuff easy at least 8 years ago. Why do you make this so hard?

I came here for the same thing. I have been asked by a nonprofit client to setup Office 365 and to migrate OneDrive documents into a more collaborative environment. Drag and drop would be a piece of cake -the group's I have created line up nicely on the left side of my one drive window. Download to reupload? I don't think so.

The whole idea of a Cloud drive is to work in the Cloud not to put files on your internal disk to be able to move them.

Agreed again - it seems ridiculous that it is so cumbersome - all within the same system!

would be super awesome to be able to drag and drop several files from OD4B to Groups.
