Share folder like file "Get Link" for external users without external users being required to sign in . Since there is no such a future I am gonna have to use Dropbox, I wish I could of use onedrive since I am already paying office 365 tons of money!
OneDrive already supports this if your IT administrator allows it. Just select the folder, choose “Share”, and select “Anyone with the link” as the permissions!
Do we have to use Google Drive for this? Unbelievable!
This is a constant issue for us, not being able to share out folders without a MS account and only encourages my users to have their own shadow IT, with Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.
MAKE IT SIMPLE. PLEASE.

This is a no-brainer!
I have just been asked by a client "Are we not able to share folders with people outside of...?"
I now feel incredibly stupid going back to them and explaining that they can, as long as the person they want to share the folder with has an email address that is attached to a Microsoft account! If not (and the other person doesn't want to link a Microsoft account to their email address), the only option is to share every file individually via a link!
Every other Cloud storage system allows the owner to share folders... except your BUSINESS offering!!! My client now has to copy the folder into Dropbox/Google Drive and share THAT instead, which is hardly professional!
found this today on fasttrack.office.com under development section!
