Allow Japanese characters to be synced..!
It is essential that you allow Japanese characters to be synced with OneDrive.
I have some programs which save their data to my documents folder, which I keep synced with OneDrive.
But OneDrive cannot sync those folders because they contain Japanese characters, and I simply get a message, telling me to rename those folders (which is of course impossible, as they are working folders for programs).
I have waited patiently for a long time, for this serious bug to be fixed, but as it has not, I am now posting this bug report.
I have tried to make copies of the folders, an placing them in varies other cloud sync folders, all of which works perfectly with the Japanese characters, except for OneDrive.
Some of the services which works fine with Japanese characters are.:
- MEGA
- Box
- Google Drive
- DropBox
- Degoo
Please fix this serious bug asap, I am currently on a free 2 years 100gb OneDrive, and I was planning on paying for the space afterwards, but only if this bug is fixed.

I have found out, that OneDrive is in fact able to sync some Japanese characters, but there are often folder which will not sync, giving the warning that they contain unsupported characters.
