Allow substituting a drive letter for the OneDrive for business folder(s).
We have a database that uses drive letters for folders. Using the "subst" command will do just that, substitute a drive letter for the long OneDrive path. However, this creates the folder "System Volume Information" - a hidden, read-only system folder that crashes OneDrive every time! Make OneDrive ignore system files! Allow a drive letter substitution for the long OneDrive path!
Please post back as to what you did if you have had success clearing the crashes caused by subst creating the System Volume Information folder. I am afraid if I fiddle with this folder I'll brick my system. Thank you.

My workaround was to sync to a short folder name (I called mine "O") in the root of the drive.

I am now testing a workaround by taking ownership of the System Volume Information folder, adding full access to system users, but keeping it hidden. So far, so good. I will post exact steps soon on the link below.
