Thumbnails not generated in OneDrive folders anymore
OneDrive on Windows 10 no longer generates file thumbnails in picture folders. I've tried a dozen fixes, so it is directly related to the OneDrive App and Windows 10. Windows 7 is actually working fine with the same files and OneDrive folders. So there is a recent Windows 10 Update that has disabled the ability for Windows 10 to build a successful thumbnail cache. This is happening on multiple machines but only Windows 10 and not Windows 7.

Have exactly the same problem in one drive folder on a Win 10 system (latest update). Thumbnails are appearing but immeditately disappear. This happens since one of the last updates.

I resolved this changing my DNS. I was using Norton's DNS and when I swapped with CloudFlare the thumbnails started to appear again.

I'm finding the same thing, any file I paste into OneDrive, the thumbnail initially appears but then disappears after the file is synced with the Cloud. Here is a 10s video of it happening for a SOLIDWORKS part file (but it also happens with many other file typs):
