I want to use One drive for my music files. Create a platform for music streaming from One drive.

Need business Onedrive to work with Groove, I pay and it doesn't work. It works with the free personal account, wtf?

Microsoft,
Please allow to play stream files (mp3 etc) on Onedrive website and third-party programs (via Onedrive API) -

I would also say that you can actually do this already. Shouldn't this set to "done"?

Anonymous, what are you talking about? I just tested this myself, and you CAN play your audio files online (it opens up Groove Music to stream it over the browser).
I'm embarrassed that I voted on this before checking this out for myself.

It would be VERY useful if OneDrive for Business was included with ALL releases not just consumer.
Also, apps in all platforms should release at the same time, so Windows Mobile, Windows, IOS, Android and MAC this would make the entire userbase have access at the same time and can experience the change with everyone instead of it being fragmented.

All of a sudden, when I click on an mp3 in my OneDrive, it takes to the XBox site. I want to play my mp3's on ITunes with my Mac.
OneDrive will not let me play my music on ITunes. If this keeps up, I will not be using OneDrive any longer -

How can I do this on iOS?
When I install the Xbox music app, it says that I need to have an Xbox music pass subscription -

The ability to play own music stored in OneDrive from Xbox Music app and site is nice. But that's a Xbox Music feature, and hence a different feature request, inside a different uservoie. We want to be able to play MP3 files when we are browsing inside the OneDrive site.

This is basic - we need it yesterday!

Hopefully the playlists can be smart so it can track the music file even when the file is edited or moved to another folder.

Streaming music directly in the browser will be a major step forward for onedrive.

While you're working on this, also add the ability to modify ID3 tags in the OneDrive interface. This should be identical to what is offered in Windows Explorer. Don't reinvent the wheel; be consistent.

Exactly, more integration with other Microsoft products would be great.

Totally agree here. Xbox Music doesn't pick up a large amount of the music that I have (The one that kills me is Mormon Tabernacle Choir) and this would be an absolutely amazing feature, one worth tell friends about. Sheesh: the idea of loading music onto a computer once and then having access to it from any device, anywhere, even if it's not match-able on iTunes or Xbox Music? I'm sold!

Actually, the issue is about ecosystem. Another avenue for users switching to Windows Phone or surface is their media. Integrating this to OneDrive and having a streaming option for Xbox Music is similar to Amazon. MS can always charge like amazon does. Once people migrate, then MS will get future revenues. Having a family member switching to surface and facing this problem now.
