Add support for online playback of Sony AVCHD (.MTS) video format.
Currently Sony AVCHD (.mts) video files will not play in onedrive. Many of my home videos are shot in this format. Sony's cameras are somewhat popular and I think this format should be supported.

Please enable MTS files online playing. I backed up all my videos but I cannot play them without downloading. It is inefficient

Please add the ability to play AVCHD (mts) video files through OneDrive.
I work for our county schools and we use this format for recording. We also support Microsoft OneDrive for saving staff and student files. I have been uploading all of my .mts files for playback and now see it will not function. Also, I am disappointed to see my own home videos will not play there. I do not want to move to Google Play but will begin using that if I there is not resolution in OneDrive. Please add .mts as a file format allowed for playback in OneDrive.
Thank you!! -

Absolutely agree. It is a real PAIN not being able to run/play my videos through One Drive.

Not sure if it will help, but MS support gave me this link...looks like voting on the same issue has reopened.

+1. This will be very annoying moving forward (I also share team videos, LOTS of them...individual matches), and trying to download/convert/upload to catch up on years past just won't happen.

It used to work for years, I shared videos from my Sony camera with my parents. Now they can't play them in browser anymore and have to download instead.
Why MS would make a step backwards?
Bring it back!
