I suggest you ...

Add support for online playback of Sony AVCHD (.MTS) video format.

Currently Sony AVCHD (.mts) video files will not play in onedrive. Many of my home videos are shot in this format. Sony's cameras are somewhat popular and I think this format should be supported.

Are you insane? Google docs can do it without effort. Why is such a problem on onedrive? You really freakin me out. Convert to mp4? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MINDS? I HAVE ABOUT 10K RAW MTS CLIPS!!! Give that damned support!!!!

Please add the ability to play AVCHD (mts) video files through OneDrive.
I work for our county schools and we use this format for recording. We also support Microsoft OneDrive for saving staff and student files. I have been uploading all of my .mts files for playback and now see it will not function. Also, I am disappointed to see my own home videos will not play there. I do not want to move to Google Play but will begin using that if I there is not resolution in OneDrive. Please add .mts as a file format allowed for playback in OneDrive.
    Thank you!!

Absolutely agree. It is a real PAIN not being able to run/play my videos through One Drive.

+1. This will be very annoying moving forward (I also share team videos, LOTS of them...individual matches), and trying to download/convert/upload to catch up on years past just won't happen.

Yes please, MTS support or the ability to open another video player desperately needed!

Bring MTS support back or I will switch to Dropbox! I have 8 years of MTS videos on my cloud drive. WHY?!?!?!

It used to work for years, I shared videos from my Sony camera with my parents. Now they can't play them in browser anymore and have to download instead.
Why MS would make a step backwards?
    Bring it back!

OneDrive worked great for us last year but no longer supports MTS video formats. I think this format should be supported. That was a bad decision since every year I make all my parents on our team sign up for OneDrive to watch their kids play soccer. You are missing out on a huge opportunity to advertise your products. Doesn't seem like a smart decision.

    Hei,

en tiedä miksi videoni eivät ole toimineet One Driven kautta lähes puoleen vuoteen. Nyt sanottiin, että kerro ongelmasi tämän linkin kautta. Mikä tallennemuoto on .mts. Aiemmin kaikki ottamani videot ovat näkyneet aivan normaalisti OneDriven kautta. En jaksaisi enää valittaa. Mitä tehdä???????????????

I support your idea. Unfortunately voting was already closed :-(

An alternative option is to convert MTS files to MP4 files, which are supported. Newer video cameras can store this format natively.

Open source tools such as HandBrake can convert MTS to MP4. You can only convert locally on your PC, so download => convert => upload is needed.
