improve video streaming
I have noticed for a while now that video streaming via my OneDrive is, to put it mildly, horrible. Not just my account but also the experience on other family accounts too. Videos I have recorded with my Windows Phone are uploaded and shared to family. Either via the web, the onedrive app on mobile devices and my Xbox One, there is constant buffering. This experience is the same on difference types of quality connections (100/15 residential & 50/12 commercial)

Whenever I send someone a OneDrive video link, I tell them to ignore the stream and use the download button instead. For some reason its faster to download the video entirely than to try and stream it, which will cause lower quality video to be shown at a slower pace. Often with buffering pauses in between.

this buffering makes it unbearable to use. Yesterday someone visited me with a iphone, we had recorded the same concert some nights before. On the iphone the streaming was perfect. We tried it with my lumia 950 and my surface pro 4, it took like 10 minutes to finish buffering a film of 2,5 minute. while on her iphone it was streaming perfect. we where both on the same wifi. Really quite embarrassing... :-(

i have noticed the exact same issue. pictures seem fine but videos are horrible quality. this is not a new issue as others have reported it yet microsoft has thus far refused to fix it. they keep suggesting that it is a user issue when clearly this is not the case. come on microsoft will you please fix this issue with videos shared with others already ? it is embarrassing to share videos with others from onedrive. flikr and dropbox do not have this problem at all. fix it fix it fix it already and stop ignoring the problem
