Allow OneDrive for Business to synchronise with SharePoint document libraries other than your own private doc library
OneDrive for Business on Android (and probably iOS too) will synchronise with your own private document library hosted on SharePoint, however it does not provide the ability to synchronise with other SharePoint document libraries. If you are looking to do away with a server for small business and use Office365 (ideally SharePoint) then you must be able to provide this capability for Android tablets. It works for Windows based tablets/laptops but not Android (and probably iOS).

We shipped support for connecting to your SharePoint Online document libraries in our latest Android release.

When can we expect that sharepoint libraries can be shared as well with the OneDrive or SharePoint App ?

This is still a requirement, that is needed.

Can't seem to find this option on Android!

The integration is not complete.
We want to upload receipes/bills/etc with the build in scan functionality in onedrive app(which works great by the way).
But surprisingly the button 'scan' is not available there.
-There is no favorite function, everyone has to navigate through the entire sharepoint navigation path; all the time.
- There is no way to sync a specific folder via link(e.g. sharing a location via the share-point share button doesn't work...
- A homescreen shortcut to a shared link would be nice) -

OK, that's great. It is exact the feature we need now!
But every time I try to connect to our main O365 SharePoint I geht the error:
"SharePoint Server is using basic authentication which isn’t currently supported by this app"
What do I miss here? The Android client never asked for any credentials ... -

As stated below in other post, your competitor (Google) offers a folder sync much effective and easy.
I'm having a lot of troubles syncing files and folder among different users and devices (never had before with GDrive). A feature that allow a user see the shared folder among the OneDrive root would be the best. -

Please add this feature. The OneDrive for Business Android App and the Outlook Groups app on Android are sorely lacking the ability to contribute back to remote files.
It's great that you can open them in Outlook Groups, but you can't save any changes you make on your mobile device except if you're on a desktop.
And not being able to view sharepoint files in OneDrive for Business is just broken considering you have this functionality in the web.
Google drive is far superior when it comes to collaborating and syncing. Please enable these critical features!

We recently went from Exchange to Google to O365. While people did not much like the google e-mail and calendar experience, they miss the google drive collaboration and sync capabilities. We must use group shares for documents we are collaborating on and not being able to see them on mobile devices is a real pain.

If I only login to my "OneDrive for Business" (aka Sharepoint), I can only specify my e-mail address. I can login sucessfully, but apparently our admins did not enable write capabilities in the default directory, where I log on, hence I cannot actually use it, since I cannot specify an URL to open a OneNote Notebook from.

It is also the case when attempting to work in office 13 and the shared with me folder cannot be seen. it would be so much better is the shared with me folder could be hosted in the files section on onedrive and so any documents that are shared can be opened no matter what device is being used.

This is very critical requirement, as mobile use is growing rapidly and now businesses are suffering significantly of this missing capability.

In my opinion, this is a much needed feature. We extensively share documents with employees, and it would be great if a document library could share to the OneDrive App. We can get by with having a user share from a private library, but it would be beneficial to be able to share from team sites and the main Sharepoint site as well.
