Stop creating unwanted folders
Every time I start up OneDrive for the first time a new folder named 'Documents' is created. A cloud service like OneDrive is supposed to sync the files and folders that I define on the server one-to-one without creating new, unwanted folders. Now I have to delete this folder three times a day and I'm fed up with it. The same goes for the camera roll functionality, which creates a new directory structure to back up the pictures, instead of letting the user define where to store the files. Think about usability please!
Thanks for the suggestion. We are looking separately at camera roll from folders like Documents and Pictures. If you want to split this up, we’ll prioritize them separately.
OneDrive is creating additional unwanted OneDrive folders on other local drives. I delete the offending folders but OneDrive keeps creating them
when will this get resolved...

Whats the update - with this the OneDrive is useless and I will decided for my organisation to use Dropbox instead....
Would love to hear from the staff here !
looking to get this resolved. that would be cool
At least one year later and this problem is still not fixed!! UNACCEPTABLE, Microsoft!
A few years ago I went all into Microsoft ecosystem. I was happy and told everybody I know how great it was. Since then, things have gone from bad to worse. First they took away my storage space and I had to move all my pictures to Google. Then Windows 10 created endless problems. This one, with OneDrive doing whatever it wants on my hard drive is just the latest annoyance. I think my next laptop will be a Chromebook and my next phone an Android...
this bug has been posted for too long on numerous websites without any fix so far; this is unacceptable...
Hear, hear, well said.
Why do MS think they know what we want!
Let us decide for ourselves please.
Now they're giving me Skype on OneDrive - what the heck for?
If I wanted Skype I'd open Skype not OneDrive.

agreed. The last thing I want to do is to accidently upload my **** pics to my cloud and share them with everyone. These file creations are seriously annoying.
