Find a solution to the OneDrive app for Android repeated 'Sign-in error for <email address>' notifications
Other users and I keep getting the OneDrive app error notification 'Sign-in error for <my email address> ' on my Android phone, even though several times I've tapped it and it's taken me to the app to put my password in. It happens sporadically and very regularly.
I posted on http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/forum/odoptions-odmobile/onedrive-app-for-android-repeated-sign-in-error/d45b37b3-d471-4abc-9448-32e567db417b
but Arvind Ram, a Microsoft Forum Moderator and Support Engineer has suggested I post on here, which I have.

Android 7.0 Solution: go to Apps --> Settings --> Notifications, find 'OneDrive' use slider to turn off / disable notifications for 'OneDrive'. No more annoying pop ups for an app you dont use.

Now and then I get the notification from OneDrive that login failed. This happens often due the restrictions I have set for my phone during nights.
When I tap the notification the login (or sign in) page opens with my account name and I type my password - it then returns with failed login and again presents my account name (this time in grey) and I again type in my password ( exactly as the first time) - and then it works.
So why do I have to it twice for it to work?
Yes I saw your comment in the other thread. If you receive a solution please tell me. My last occurrence was this morning! (I'm in the UK)
I have the exact same problem. Thanks for opening this suggestion. Have also posted my problem in above mentioned thread, i also have already reported that problem via the OneDrive-App itself. Up to now no solution.
Last occurence of the problem was yesterday, and i had to reboot the phone in order to re-connect to OneDrive.
