In some cases when I share files by sending a link to a specific e-mail address, the receipent is asked to sign in, even though I always use "Receipents don't need a Micr. account" option.
(while in web interface:) I right-click a file, then Share and then enter receipents mail address in the "Invite People" tab (not Get a link).
The problem doesn't happen if use Get a link option from the second tab.

plus, they can only view contents IN folders and cannot download the folder itself. I share video reels often, i can be viewed in browser and downloading one file/video is not a problem. I recently shared audio files (which have MANY takes/files) and there is no option to download the whole folder and you can't even use "select all" and then download as it forces a sign-in. It is forcing my contact to select and download on file at a time over 100 times with varying file sizes. This looks bad as I have been preaching the word of OneDrive for some time and never realized this limitation (unless it was new and unannounced)
