Allow multiple OneDrive accounts integrated into Windows Explorer
Currently, even if you integrated multiple OneDrive accounts, only the one in which you are logged on is integrated into Windows Explorer. Allowing to use as many OneDrive accounts you have integrated into Windows Explore would make OneDrive even more relevant.

Understand the request, but we have no plans to support multiple OneDrive personal accounts per OS user account.

You can add multiple now, by opening 'settings' in the OneDrive icon in the taskbar. Then click on 'Add an account' in the 'Account' tab.

multiple is necessary for students who may have a free or even paid for personal account but are required to use the account provided by their college or university since only that account is allowed to upload files, such as assignments, to a Learning Content Management System like Canvass..... this option is available in the mobile office for android which also only allows one personal account but also allows a professional or education account to be added and used seamlessly alongside each other... why is it not available for a basic computer... serious oversight guys...

Not supporting multiple one-drive accounts is a huge inconvenience! I have shared my personal onedrive with my professional OS login, and I cannot save to the personal.... if i save to local documents, and move it to a shortcut link to my personal onedrive, it does not update - it becomes a local copy. This has created an enormous mess. I do not want to toggle between os logins because i have all of my email and local files in one place. I think the architecture of onedrive is horrible. If it was merely cloud storage, so that i had to 'bring down' a file from the cloud, change it, and reload it into the cloud, that would be better (as clutzy as it is) than this!

You can share any folders you want to access with the account associated with Windows Explorer, then the folders will show up if you choose to sync them from other accounts. You will need enough disk space to accommodate multiple accounts, a fairly big deal if you have 2 or 3 accounts of 1 TB each.

Just wanted to update this thread, that this is now fully working. Using Windows 10 (not sure about older versions), I'm able to add additional OneDrive accounts, simply by clicking on the Settings gear icon associated with the OneDrive icon in the taskbar system icon tray.

This needs to be integrated. My company is small and were looking at a solution like this. Linking to an office365 group is a weak implementation. This is why it needs to be linked to a power user account enabling multiple users to access the drive and creating a nest. Sharepoint capabilities for cloud sharing are not there yet. Perhaps instead of user implementation for a single nest you should look at the linkage of office365 groups to a local computer using the onedrive app provided by you guys. I am sure this can be done within a month. Please contact me if you need further information as I can assist. Thank you.

You should make a plan to do this. I would imagine 95% of all small business owners would benefit.

What about one personal and one business account?
If not, this is a bit short sided on Microsoft's part. I really like Microsoft products but not really surprised at all of you (as a company) does something like this.

just share all your one drive accounts to a single onedrive account and then log into that one. I do it with my school onedrive and have it shared to my personal. I have my school onedrive at work but don't want my personal drive on my work computer. this way I have my school work at work and home without haveing my personal stuff at work but still have access at home without logging out of my personal to log into my school drive. Hope that makes sense.

It is possible to simultaneously synch one professional OneDrive and one personal one, but not more than one of each kind. If you have only one synch set up and want to add the other, right-click OneDrive icon in task bar, then click Settings > Add Account

How do I switch from my free OneDrive account to my new paid OneDrive account that came with my Office365? When I login into the new one it shows all my files, but the account that is listed in "This PC" is the free one. It makes it difficult to save files to the new account.
