Enable file versioning / history for all types of files (not just Office types)
I know you can recover previous versions of Microsoft Office files in OneDrive. But in Dropbox and Google Drive, you can recover previous versions of any file type (and this has been a long standing feature of these services). Please give us the ability to restore previous versions of any file type in OneDrive.

We are expanding version history support to all file types for OneDrive personal account users. As a result, customers will now be able to restore or download previous versions of all their files for up to 30 days. It will be available to everyone this summer; currently, approximately 10% of OneDrive users can see and interact with this feature.
You can read more about file versioning and how to use it on our blog: https://blogs.office.com/en-us/2017/07/19/expanding-onedrive-version-history-support-file-types
We understand how critical your data is to you. We also understand that threats are continually evolving and that our product must evolve too. This is one of several steps you will see us take in the near future to help protect you and your data.

This issue should have the highest priority. It is a huge security risk for onedrive users with cryptolocker and other malware in the wild.

Please add it ASAP. Keeping me with the competition without it.

OneDrive is worthless without this feature

I've trusted this feature was for all file types - why wouldn't it be!!??. I've trusted one/sky drive for a long time with all my companies development code as a backup to source control. Now we have had an issue and need to revert the code back to a previous version and there is no history!! - Back to drop box, wish I had never moved!

Any update on this issue? This is the only thing that keeps me on Dropbox.

hi MS, this is new business not a feature. Why? you can charge is as separate storage, like VSS in typical server OS, that consume blocks on disk

I am tired of waiting for this feature :( This is the only reason I can not move from Dropbox. Even though OneDrive offers lots of free/cheap space, it is useless for me.

Ditto the other comments. OneDrive's integration into Windows is great, but without version history for all file types Dropbox remains King.

Thankful that partial versioning is available. One clarification, not ALL Office files have versioning. I don't have this ability to MS Publisher (Part of Office 365).

This is the single thing that keeps me on Dropbox. I view it as a must have feature for this type of service and cannot wait until it is implemented!

This may finally get us off of using Visual Source Safe!

It's currently the only feature keeping me from switching to OneDrive. Once it happens, I'm all yours, guys.

This should be VERY useful, is there a timeframe to implement it ?

HORRIBLE! I actually thought this was available for all file types and just went to check and realized it is NOT. I can't believe I'm paying for this, lucky that I didn't actually NEED it today but it's kind of pathetic that it's not there. Talk about weak sauce!

I lost years worth of AutoCAD drawings because of this. Dropbox has my business now.

This is a glaring deficiency. I will convert to Onedrive when you add it.

Wow. I just assumed OneDrive had this basic parity with competing services. Now, it appears I've lost data... :( Shame on me for trusting you guys without verifying.
