iOS Camera Roll Backup Bug
Not all of my images/videos in my camera roll are successfully backed up in OneDrive for iOS even though I have the Camera Roll Backup feature turned on and the status says "up to date".
I ended up having to copy all the images off my iPhone to a PC and do a folder diff with my OneDrive CameraRoll folder. What I found was occasional photos taken between Aug 2014 an Jan 2015 were not present in my OneDrive Camera Roll.
Before manually finding the differences, I was able to visually spot some missing photos in the OneDrive app. I tried signing out and even deleting and reinstalling the app to see if it would pick up the missing photos, but it didn't.
Please fix, it was very unnerving to think I almost lost photos by deleting my iPhone Camera Roll because I thought it was all backed up to OneDrive
Hi, folks. We know about this issue and are working on it. The best way for us to help you is to have you send feedback (and logs) directly from the app. You can shake your phone or send the bug report through Settings / Help & Feedback.
Mine is the same, photos and videos are being sorted incorrectly due to file changes and losing meta data, only half the photos and videos are uploading. I pay the yearly sub and it doesn’t even show the 1TB only the free space. Been on to the online support several times and been passed from pillar to post, i was then given a number to ring that after about 18 pushed it told me to use the online chat and cut me off.
They have now told me to cancel my subscription and re-purchase, but after we have set up and configured three computers with Office 365.
This is totality unacceptable, disrespectful and false adverting with the worst customer support I have ever received to paying customers. For a company that’s been around this long to still have such flawed apps and software is just unbelievable.
same problem, tonight uploaded a bunch of stuff which seemed to work, but it doesnt appear under onedrive,
They offer an app that does not work. That´s shit!
I currently use a service called CloudBacko Backup Software. CloudBacko supports Windows, Linux, Mac, etc. You must also need ease and conveniency in storing your data. It is the fastest, secure and more reasonable from other online IT backup solutions.
Just had phone repaired, backed it up before hand now discovered photos are missing plus data from some other apps. why offer a solution that doesn't work.
will look at drop box again as one drive has scored a

I can't get any photos since June 5,2015 to upload to OneDrive. In the OneDrive app, I just see "Camera Upload Up to date". I tried the uninstall and then reinstall the OneDrive app, but it made no difference. I have an iPhone 4S with iOS 8.3. Please let me know the status of this issue and what I need to do when you are able to resolve it. Thanks.
how can we get OneDrie app on iphone to restart the entire camera roll upload from scratch ? It assumes it has already done it - which is not the case.

Having this same issue. Haven't backed up a photo in two weeks even though it says all are backed up. This is unacceptable.
More frustrating, my phone says that it uploaded ALL photos and when I go in the folder on the PC there are no photos there. I use Iphone 4 and the onedrive for personal accounts. I used to get some errors on each file, now the errors are gone AND the files are not uploaded. I would like to switch from dropbox to onedrive but at this moment is it too frustrating! Thanks in advance for help!
Dan G. I agree with you 100%.
Also check this link on Microsoft's forum: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/forum/odwork-odtags/onedrive-backs-up-downscaled-version-of-the-photos/a52ebdd4-2bbd-4d72-a8e6-fec8a2021d44?page=2&rtAction=1433938336321 there at least someone is answering (even though not helping at all)

I am seeing two bugs with onedrive, both very serious.
(1) Not all of my photos are present on the onedrive cloud even though on my iphone it says the sync is complete. I can see multiple photos that are missing from onedrive even though they show up on my local phone camera roll. It doesn't look like there is any way to force a resync to make the system check and fix its sync error. I am extremely happy I discovered this so I know not to trust onedrive is backing up all my files even when it says it has done so.
(2) Onedrive seems to be corrupting photo metadata, ie bits stored inside the files, for example the date taken field. Some photos, around 10 out of 200, show with a recent date taken when they were actually taken over a year ago. They still show correctly on my iphone but are now sorted to the top on onedrive with dates a few days ago. BACKUPS SHOULD BE EXACT BIT COPIES AND THE TOOL MUST CONFIRM THIS. It is highly unacceptable for the backup tool to modify the file content or fail to confirm the file content was copied without corruption. I don't feel that I can trust my files are 100% preserved by onedrive.
In summary, this is very disappointing and I'm not sure what MS could do to cause me to trust onedrive again. I was excited about the service and was planning to subscribe for 1+ TB and move all my backups from various NAS drives, PCs, macs, macbooks, and iphones onto onedrive. That plan is now scrapped and I'm looking for another cloud data storage service that takes seriously their responsibility to secure and preserve my data.

Microsoft just release a new version of Onedrive for IOS. Only GUI updates.
Despite the update this bug remains there. We've been complaining for months on an important bug and they release a interface update? That's just disrespectful.
Same Problem, just Sent Feedback
I's still not working. I'm paying for this. FIX IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is ridiculous and still the bug is around after several months... i pay for the damn backup service and i loose my pictures.... this is really an unacceptable freaking bug,...why dont you put the damn fix

Right now entering feedback causes the OneDrive app to crash on iOS. Tried from both iPhone and iPad. If I enter more than about 1 sentence, the app crashes. Makes it difficult to report feedback with any detail.

This is a serious issue! I trust this app to back up my files and now I find out it hasn't been 100% and hasn't for a while. I've lost all trust in this solution and refuse to recommend OneDrive for Business to my company because of it. Congrats Microsoft, you just lost business.
