At the moment, I have my photos backed up into the pictures folder from my iPhone, and tonnes of textures and pngs since I do game development. Whenever I go to my photos tab in the app it just gets overwhelmed with all these ugly texture maps, instead of my photos. The feature to only show photos from the pictures folder is on the web version, why isn't it on the app??179 votes
Since update 5.29.1 for Android, cast to Chromecast when connected to a Wi-Fi network with a suitable device, was removed without any further notice.
Please fix whatever instability issues you found and let users know what is included in the latest version.
The What is new text is so old and untouched that the best selling point is the introduction of the PIN and no mention to what is removed if you update the app.1,053 votes
Update to the latest version of OneDrive, and see all of your media content on the big screen with Chromecast!
Photos section in OneDrive for Android should default to only crawling and showing pictures in the Pictures folder not all folders
Photos currently crawls every single picture format found in my entire OneDrive account. For those of us that are syncing all User folders such as Desktop, Documents, Music and Pictures, this Photos section on OneDrive for Android is useless. It crowds up and lists every single "picture" including web design graphics, backgrounds, icons, album art, etc. into the Photos section of the app. Have the photos section only display pictures found in the Pictures folder of OneDrive.324 votes
You can now filter the photos view to show all pictures, only the pictures folder or for Samsung Gallery Sync customers, the Samsung Gallery folder.
Just found that the OneDrive app on Android does not support downloading files to the SD card. That should be fixed as in most situations, the SD card is the better (and larger) place for your documents to be kept on your phone.
Thank you78 votes
Installing the OneDrive app on an SD card is now supported on most Android devices. This allows you to install the entire app as well as any files/folders you mark for offline availability will use this additional storage.
We’ve release a new version of our app to the Amazon App Store and fixes the issues experienced on Kindle devices.
Hello, I would like to suggest the placement of a button to undo in the application OneDrive (Android) because as an architect I make many annotations and when I make a mistake typing or a stroke i have to delete everything. Please, i just need that button for my everyday work. Thank you very much for all the efforts you guys do.540 votes
This is now supported in version 5.20 of the Android app. Stay tuned as the release is rolling out now.
On wepage we have option so see pictures/photos from only the Photos folder but in Android version of OneDrive, we don't have this option when we go to the "Photos" from the mainmenu, it shows all pictures, what we dont want.
So please add that same function from webpage to app.1,030 votes
You can now filter your Photos tab to only include content from your Pictures folder.
Please enable finger print unlock as pass code instead of standard pass code, just like drop box does. No offense! It's just my suggestion.724 votes
This is now supported in version 5.14. Thanks for your suggestions and votes!
Nowadays most of the phones support Fingerprints lock. It wud be great if that can be added as an extra security to access the onedrive app.45 votes
