Separate folders when automatically uploading from multiple sources on mobile
Within the Android app, OneDrive suggests you backup photos from multiple apps/folders/sources on your phone. This is a good feature to keep everything synced with the cloud, however it is very disorganized to throw all of these files in the base Camera Roll folder. Each source (every app/folder) should have it's own folder within Camera Roll. They all have different naming conventions, so it's difficult to dissect which photo came from which app.

Show only photos from Photos folder
On wepage we have option so see pictures/photos from only the Photos folder but in Android version of OneDrive, we don't have this option when we go to the "Photos" from the mainmenu, it shows all pictures, what we dont want.
So please add that same function from webpage to app.
988 votesI’m going to open this one back up. We are working to add support to filter the Android photos view to include all photos or those only in the Pictures folder, for all users not only for Samsung Gallery Sync customers.

Bring back casting to Chromecast for Mobile devices
Since update 5.29.1 for Android, cast to Chromecast when connected to a Wi-Fi network with a suitable device, was removed without any further notice.
Please fix whatever instability issues you found and let users know what is included in the latest version.
The What is new text is so old and untouched that the best selling point is the introduction of the PIN and no mention to what is removed if you update the app.983 votes -
Show full file/folder name
I know lots of apps use the ellipsis/three dots (...) when the text reaches a character limit, but I think it's a little annoying when you have to go to the properties of the file/folder just to see it's full name. Just make a new type of view (detailed view?) or make it as an option in settings.

When photos are uploaded automatically, there should be an option to organize them within folders of month or year, like the apple app
Currently on the android app when photos are uploaded automatically, they all go into one folder and that folder is not able to be changed. This results in the user having one huge file with tens of thousands of photos with hundreds of GB. On the Apple one drive app there is an option for photos to be organized into months or years. It would be great if this feature could come over to the android app.

Sorting default
It would be nice if the android app would use the same sorting default as the one set in our OneDrive on the web. As of right now, we have to sort every folder manually since the app's default is by icons.
Would also be nice to set a default sorting for the app with just one tap that would sort it all from the root to the last subdirectory.

Create a "OneDrive Photos" app
I would like you could create a dedicated OneDrive Photos app, like Google Photos is separated from Google Drive (offering a photos-focused app).
In Windows Mobile is not problem: the gallery is, at the same time, the "gallery" you have in OneDrive. You don't need to open the OneDrive app, and your Photos sync with your local gallery app.
Why we can't have something similar to the Google Photos or Windows Mobile experience?
Thank you and sorry for my grammar mistakes, I Hope you understand me.

Add options of wifi-only and pause (all) for uploading
Sometimes, one needs to upload big but not urgent files so it's just not worth it to use too much cellular data, so then the wifi-only option would be great. And in the same circumstance of not urgent files uploading, pausing the upload temperarily for some urgent need of quick network usage is also convenient.

Enable open all file types
Currently OneDrive for Android has an artifical limit on what files you can open. It would be very useful if that block was removed so that any file can be opened as long as there is an app installed that supports that file extension.
For example, currently you cannot open .kbdx files even though you have keepassdroid (http://www.keepassdroid.com/) installed that handles that file extension. keepassdroid is open source so you can check its manifest (https://github.com/bpellin/keepassdroid/blob/master/AndroidManifest.xml) to see that it properly registers to handle .kbdx files and you can verify that it works by opening such a…

OneDrive App for Amazon FireTV
I am requesting an app built for use with the Amazon FireTV. It would be so cool to be able to watch your movies and pictures on the big screen with the family. We have a FireTV on all our TVs and hence, we can't look at our latest vacation memories.

Allow opening files with associated apps
Currently if you try to view or open a text or html file in the Android app, you get an error, e.g. with the html Viewer:
Webpage not available
The webpage at file:///data/data/com.microsoft.skydrive/nobackup/streamcache/useraccount/146089/default.htm could not be loaded because:
net::ERRFILENOT_FOUND
Looks like a p0 scenario to me and I am surprised it doesn't work.

I want you to make it possible to edit text files on OneDrive for Business on mobile devices
Since text (.txt) files are basic files for entering and saving letters, I would like you to create an option that allows the editing of text files saved on OneDrive for Business on mobile devices. It is very inconvenient to have to change text files into Word documents every time you want to edit them. So, wouldn`t you please create a function that allows to directly edit text files in the OneDrive app or add a function to the Word for mobile app that makes it possible to open and edit text files on mobile devices? Google is already offering…

TURN OFF WHITEBOARD ENHANCEMENT
I took an image of 2 blocks in a diagram, with an arrow between them. It saved an image of an arrow pointing to a block. That is not what I wanted.
I put the title in all-caps because I am very angry.

Samsung Gallery sync from SD Card
Samsung Gallery on Android can now sync directly with OneDrive. Previously it was the OneDrive app itself that handled the sync. However it will only work with folders that are in internal memory, not the SD Card.
Even worse, although you can disable the Samsung Gallery Sync, you can't then re-enable the OneDrive Sync.
So it is now impossible to sync my photos169 votes
