Reduce Image size and quality
We want an option to control the image size and quality for the photos of canera roll before uploading. Some images may be 5+ MB we need an option to all the app to compress its size before uploading it to OneDrive account.

Improve the PDF reader
Hey there.
Recently I was using the OneDrive application in android, I found some features that would improve the application and of course its usefulness.
1) Add a view for horizontal scrolling in the PDF reader.
2) Add a night mode.
3) Add the option "Jump to page" in the PDF reader.
4) Add the function to put bookmarks on the pages in PDF files.
5) Add arrows (Simbols) for the PDF marks.
6) Add OCR for scanned PDF files to be able to highlight it.
I think the community will appreciate that features.76 votes -

Separate folders when automatically uploading from multiple sources on mobile
Within the Android app, OneDrive suggests you backup photos from multiple apps/folders/sources on your phone. This is a good feature to keep everything synced with the cloud, however it is very disorganized to throw all of these files in the base Camera Roll folder. Each source (every app/folder) should have it's own folder within Camera Roll. They all have different naming conventions, so it's difficult to dissect which photo came from which app.
Many android camera related apps are already offering some sort of sorting, which ends up as folders on the android device. So I think this one is…

Making a multi select button for files, instead of having to individually select them
Literally cut and dry. There should be a button that you can press to select all the files in a folder, instead of having to select one at a time.

Provide an option to switch between multiple accounts
A main drawback of one drive application is it doesn't have an option to use multiple accounts easily. Now a user need to sign out the current account to use another one, this is very painful . Please provide an option to switch multiple accounts like Google drive.

can listen to music in the background with the one drive app while screen is locked
Music must keep playing in background while screen is locked or app is in background. With any other music player, if you lock the screen you can still listen to your music, but with the one drive app it is not possible, because when you lock the screen the music stops.

Photos - Allow synchronized delete (i.e. both on OneDrive and device)
I'd like to have the option to delete photo from device and from cloud - just as it works on Windows 10 (from everywhere on the device).
If that is not possible - and it most probably is not - have the opportunity to delete from device when deleting in OneDrive.
Or at least have the opportunity to identify differences and do it as bulk operation manually.
Thank you!57 votes -

Allow Wi-fi only upload.
Right now, wifi only upload only support camera photos. It would be nice to allow wifi only upload for all files. In case users walk out of wifi range, it won't use mobile data.

Reduce memory usage while running in the background
It is a bit silly that OneDrive for Android uses on average 64MB of RAM when just sitting idle in the background.
OneDrive support even refused to answer why it needs to force itself to stay running in the background all the time so if it actually isn't needed the high memory usage is even worse. Forcing an app to remain running all the time if it isn't needed is called "one of the worst memory management mistakes an app can make" in the Android SDK documentation.

Sync the albums folders.
So I spend hours sorting my photos on my phone into folders, so I can actually find then when I want and don't have to scroll through 1000 photos under camera roll. Then it uploads to OneDrive and as far as I can tell is uploading all photos, but they are all under camera roll again and I have to spend several more hours creating and sorting. Can't you just take the whole album I already have created so they are already sorted?
