Separate folders when automatically uploading from multiple sources on mobile
Within the Android app, OneDrive suggests you backup photos from multiple apps/folders/sources on your phone. This is a good feature to keep everything synced with the cloud, however it is very disorganized to throw all of these files in the base Camera Roll folder. Each source (every app/folder) should have it's own folder within Camera Roll. They all have different naming conventions, so it's difficult to dissect which photo came from which app.
Many android camera related apps are already offering some sort of sorting, which ends up as folders on the android device. So I think this one is getting more and more important. I also have many folders and would not want to re-order them to the same folders manually.
Even if it would be too complex to manage subfolders that way, at least there should be an option to create an album with the folder's name when they are synced from the app to the cloud. That way, the thousands of already categorized photos would be kept organized after syncing, and IMHO this feature would be fairly easy to add..
I think Every person who pays for OneDrive as a cloud backup platform would appreciate a feature like this. Many various 3rd parties already use a feature like this and people using OneDrive to backup photos from mobile devices would benefit from this.. I love OneDrive but this feature needs to be added!!

This is something that has to be done URGENT... I have over 15k pics in my phone, How I'm supose to sort the again?
DropBox already has it for more than years.

I agree. This is desperately needed. OneDrive on my Windows Phone put screenshots into a separate folder, which was great. Why can't the same be done on Android. Surely there should be consistency across the platforms.
I really don't get, why Microsoft hasn't implemented this yet...
This is a very basic and essential feature. I don't like having all my WhatsApp Images/Videos, Screenshots and personal pictures crammed into the same folder...
It can't be too hard to implement, come on...
I'm really considering moving back to DropBox :/
It seems to be a widely requested feature:

Since an update a long time ago, onedrive syncs all folders with pictures if you want to. But it uploads it into only one Onedrive folder.
If you want your photos, your WhatsApp pictures and your Screenshots uploaded, all are uploaded into one folder and you have to manually sort them again.
I'd like to have an option to upload all photos in folders with the names they have on my phone, so you have i.e. a screenshot folder, a WhatsApp folder etc.
