When photos are uploaded automatically, there should be an option to organize them within folders of month or year, like the apple app
Currently on the android app when photos are uploaded automatically, they all go into one folder and that folder is not able to be changed. This results in the user having one huge file with tens of thousands of photos with hundreds of GB. On the Apple one drive app there is an option for photos to be organized into months or years. It would be great if this feature could come over to the android app.
I just want to organise by year in respective subfolders but parity with the iOS app would be most sensible for all

Hey is this not the same as iOS which has had this feature for a while now. Its a real pain when the photos get dumped into the same folder.

Yes, I agree. Please add the feature of "Organize New Uploads" (options of month and year), which is present on the iOS version of OneDrive, to the Android version ASAP!!
As I look for a replacement to Google Photos, this is a major draw back with OneDrive as I use an Android Phone.

I monthly move my photos into the year/month folders like this is requesting. I realized a while back the iPhone app already does this. I'm surprised there aren't more request. This would be a great feature for the android.
I'm not familiar with the iOS version, but I would like to see subfolders on Onedrive created when you select Extra folders. Now it drops all pictures in Pictures\Camera Roll\<year>, making a mess of that folder.

Please bring parity to the Android version with ios.
Please consider this option. My wife and I are now looking into third party apps to provide this option. Please bring this option just like you did on the iOS. thank you
Yes please add the "Organize New Uploads" option that is available on the iOS version. Shouldn't the capabilities of the Android and iOS versions be the same?
