Editable Files in OneDrive's New Personal Vault
It would be very helpful to be able to edit files - like Excel and Word stored in my new PERSONAL VAULT on my mobile device

This seems like a significant missing feature that makes the Vault useless for me for storing Office files (an important use-case for me). As a result, without this feature I am not willing to sign up for Microsoft 365 at this time. Hopefully this missing feature will be addressed in the future - in which case I would sign up for MS 365.
Having said that, I am appreciative of the advancements Microsoft is making with its products including OneDrive. Keep up the good work Microsoft!
I am eagerly awaiting for this feature , i don see a reason why one cannot edit this from their authenticated personal folder on their device
It's a bug that must be fixed. Office apps are from Microsoft, so it's not acceptable you can't edit an office file store in the vault from Android phone...
When I open an Excel file from the personal Vault on my mobile, it only opens 1 page of the document in PDF. I also have the Office 365 package on my phone. The file will open in Excel on the PC. How can I also open the file in Excel on my Android phone? And if that is not possible, how can I get the whole file in PDF from the Personal Vault?

It is just annoying to copy documents back and forth from and to Personal Vault just to be able to open them in Excel/Word etc. on Android. Being able to open file with the app should've been one of default functionalities..

Agree, this should have been flagged as a bug

I'm appalled this wasn't a feature that shipped with the update. Feels very incomplete. Like opening a checking account but you have to withdraw the money to use it. Your provided debit card intentionally is disabled by the bank. I just finished an email convo with the android support team and they said it's not supported but they are "considering" it for a future update.
The OneDrive for iOS team said they are working on it though. I'd understand if it was a feature oversight but to say it's not currently supported and it's under consideration bugs me to an extreme.
That's like the above mentioned theoretical bank saying "we are considering letting you spend your money from your debit card"
Personal vault shouldn't have been launched without that feature! Like come on!!!!
