Samsung Gallery sync from SD Card
Samsung Gallery on Android can now sync directly with OneDrive. Previously it was the OneDrive app itself that handled the sync. However it will only work with folders that are in internal memory, not the SD Card.
Even worse, although you can disable the Samsung Gallery Sync, you can't then re-enable the OneDrive Sync.
So it is now impossible to sync my photos
It is a really bad thing, that I could synchronize all my photos from the SD card using just the OneDrive (no link to Samsung gallery) app. After the Android 11 update of my Galaxy S20 this does not work any longer!? Why?
Looks like crippling the application.

Agree this is completely ridiculous. Why cant samsung upload from sd card? Why cant i re enable onedrive after? Crazy!

Agreed. This is rubbish. Please make the sync from the SD card work again.

It's absolutely ridiculous that OneDrive isn't syncing photos from the SD card
Hasta hace 1 mes, onedrive hacía copia de seguridad de mis fotos de la cámara de la sd. Pero eso ha cambiado. Por favor volver al sistema de antes

Bitte wieder wie vorher
It's absolutely ridiculous that OneDrive isn't syncing photos from the SD card. It's just beyond comprehension, like, what were developers even thinking when developing Samsung Gallery to OneDrive sync - did they think that nobody stores photos on SD cards, or what? Ridiculous.
Anyway, for those struggling with this, there is a workaround: remove connection between OneDrive and Samsung Gallery as described in the link below and then enable Camera Upload feature in OneDrive app.

New phones with 8K recording, but only 128GB of base storage will face this issue because although having a 512GB SD Card, you won't be able to sync your videos or photos

I assumed that I would get a superior experience by connecting my Samsung Cloud with OneDrive, but when I found out that it only included internal storage folders, that made this a complete deal breaker! It is beyond logic that this fundamental and crucial feature is missing - a huge step backwards!
