Sort by Date Taken
Ability to sort by date tAken. This is needed on iOS and web.
This is normal functionality for any photo storage option. If I am going to justify having all of my eggs (files) in one basket, and pay for a storage service, it better be able to sort my 15,000 photos by date taken or else it’s back to Google. Please add this feature! Thanks!

The ability to use EXIF data to filter by date taken is pretty much a given these-days, even Windows Explorer which has had the functionality for years both displays and allows you to sort by this property (AND by picture rating but that's ANOTHER story...).
It's pretty inexcusable that OneDrive can't do this even though it's clearly trying to be good at displaying picture data. The file created time simply is not a good indicator of the order to show photos, the files are often exported in parallel from Lightroom for speed and the file creation time simply does not provide a useful sorting criteria.
In the case of photo data I would either:
a) Have a discrete "order by date taken" option in the sorting (defaulting to this for a folder with exclusively photos).
b) Have the EXIF data "date taken" value override file created date where it exists and sorting by date created would mean (in the case of photos ordering by the date taken).
It's frustrating that OneDrive cannot display and sort the photos and videos according to the date taken. This will surely discourage me from archiving memorable photos and videos. Google Drive can do so. I see no reason why OneDrive has not enabled this basic function.

I don't seem to be able to sort my photo albums into 'date taken' order on the web app either, how did you achieve this?
I find it very frustrating that I can't add albums from earlier in the year without messing up the order.
This seems to be available on the web app but not the iOS app. Since now we are being constantly reminded when using the web app "there's an app for this" it would be good to have the native app support at least the features the web app has
Need this especially when taking photos using multiple devices.
