Prevent Photos Tab showing photos from entire Onedrive
Why on earth does the photos tab show all of my pictures across the entire Onedrive?
There is an option on the website version to just show photos from the Pictures Folder, please add this setting to the mobile app as it’s making it unusable as primary photo storage solution!

This is minimal functionality - and is present in the Web version.
This is a blocker. Not all images are "Photos". I will continue to use Google Photos.
I have seen technical comments about Dev wanting to do so much more. Don't delay a simple filter ("Picture" directory vs "All") for future aspiration. If you don't have users - you can't know what they want from the product.
Mr Wheeldon makes an excellent point. I have project photos I will never want to access from my OneDrive appkication on my Android. To locate a photo of a special memory or moment I have to scroll through hundreds of work and school related project photos. Its more of a hassel. We also have more private compromising photos we laugh about alone but don't want others family ir coworkers to accidentally see. The app needs a phone setting allowing the user to point to ONE specific file of selected shareable photos.
This is an issue for me as well. I don't really need to see work document scans, logos, etc. that found their way into my onedrive folder in my photos tab! Please get this updated as soon as possible so I can go back to using my onedrive app.
Having files that are not truly photos show in the photo area is not only time consuming to work with but distracting when working with others.
Why is this not already a thing? I had to stop using OneDrive to manage my photos for this very reason. It's impossible to find actual photos I need.
I completely agree. I hope OneDrive comes up with an option that allows us to disable the function of having our photos show up in the "All Photos" tab on the mobile app. It's rather annoying to see all my photos aggregated in one place. It should be an option that we can turn off easily. Thank you.
