The PDF Tools (the mark up tool, bookmark and annotation tabs) worked extremely well before the latest update. The upgrade has removed a lot of the functionality that existed - a moveable tool bar, easy to find pages that were either bookmarked or annotated, the ability to draw straight lines with ease, etc.
The current pdf viewer and tools seem to be retrograde and make the process of working on pdfs MUCH slower.
The iPadOS OneDrive app's Apple Pencil PDF annotation renders truly abysmal handwriting, compared to many other annotation tools, including Microsoft's own OneNote. I made a video showing the difference: https://youtu.be/yDo_CRDcurg. Please fix!
A snipping tool would be great or in general more options (as in OneNote)

The annotation tools used with an Apple Pencil are very basic, when comparing to other readers (like Acrobat's) o the native tools iOS brings .
We cannot even change the styling to finer traces (ie, 0.2).
Adding bookmarks and a Table of Context index would be highly valuable as well.

Annotation on pdf using one drive has again stated creating issues to more than one user in my environment. The annotations simply goes off when opened later, or sometime the annotations are shifter to a different position, or sometime half of the annotations gets wiped off automatically . Since this has started happening only since last 15-20 days, i understand that this has something to do with the updates. My take on Office 365 is that it is not stable with iOS at all. It fails to give a WOW effect to my customers, as they are constantly in trouble using one or the other Office 365 apps on iOS.

it used to be possible to edit interactive PDFs without problem in OneDrive for iOS, but now it is almost impossible to get to the field I want to change. On top, when exiting and re-entering into the pdf, some entries are gone again. Worst of it all is, that sometimes upon sending a filled in interactive pdf as copy by mail, the recipient gets the pdf empty. please help fast on that one
I've just fond another app that has all the features for annotating PDFs that OneDrive used to, and so many more: PDF viewer - Annotation Expert.
It is identical to the original OneDrive tools (and free!), but you can also open multiple files in tabs, change the scrolling view, etc.
It works with the iPad Files app and syncs to OneDrive almost instantly, so there is no need to make copies of documents.
This sounds like I'm just promoting the app, but it genuinely fixes all the disappointment from recent OneDrive updates.
I only just starting using the PDF tool, so while it's limited, it still does the job.
My biggest complaint is the eraser tool. I have no idea why it is so huge and the size cant be adjusted, while you can adjust the size and opacity of every other pen. Makes it impossible to make a small change on an ipad if there are other markings around it (unless you plan to do all those same markings over again).
I mean this feels like common sense, I'm not sure why we're making this more difficult than it needs to be.
I thought it was a user error, but appears to be an update in the iOS app. I need to be able to change colors easily in highlights and underlinings after having made them. It's too difficult on highlights and impossible(?) on underline - black is really not a useful color.
Please bring back the option of editing colors!

I so very miss the editing features for the text box. I need to change the size and color of my text to address different issues. This is frustrating. It has less functionality and features with the "new" update. That shouldn't happen.
One of the most annoying changes is that you can only enter text in black !!! Most of the text you are annotating is already black so how will your annotations stand out ? Also, one cannot change the pitch of the text like before ? Also underling can only be done in black ? Again, not standing out. A really bad move. Have not yet found what is better since the change except that the look is better :(
Unreal that with the new update you would remove even more editing features. Definitely not an upgrade in your recent update release.
Please bring back more editing capabilities for PDF's within OneDrive.
Handwriting recognition with Apple Pencil is the worst implementation I have seen on the iPad: Looks like my hand is shaking while writing, totally unprofessionally implemented. I do not understand, it was quite ok before, and it is nearly perfect on OneNote. Why not on OneDrive?

!!REQUEST!! The OneDrive PDF editing interface should be improved. The highlight and underline features should NOT be lodged under one icon. Super annoying to have to toggle back and forth when editing PDFs on OneDrive for iPad. PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING HIGHLIGHT AND UNDERLINE THEIR OWN ICONS. Will make it so much better for end users please!!!!!

The pdf annotation window now fills the whole screen, and I can not see the text in teh document. Please bring back the old interface.

Please bring back dark blue ink for the signature annotation. Light blue is not professional looking. Thank you.

AGREE! You can actually vert to an earlier build via Text Flight. Install Apple's Test flight, and then opt into test builds of OneDrive. Then go to PREVIOUS BUILDS and find build 10.36.2. ← The best version of OneDrive will all the PDF mark up. It's wonderful!

I absolutely agree. The current PDF annotation tools are totally useless. I hope MS fixes it as soon as possible.

Please bring this feature back, but for now, i have moved to other tools and now there is no need for me to stick with onedrive. it used to be a perfect work flow, you annotate in onedrive and then sync back to onedrive, now the only beautiful feature has gone.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
