Separate folders for each device backing up to the camera roll
If you have multiple devices that would take advantage of the camera roll there should be an option to put them in separate folders. IE if you have an android phone, ipad, etc each device should be given the opportunity to use a subfolder (Camera roll\ipad and Camera roll\android)

We’re interested in improving the experience for users of camera upload to OneDrive. Looking at better ways to organize and structure the files is an important aspect. No other updates right now.

Any update on this request. Now a days people have multiple devices and want to create sub-folders photos from different devices.

I asked this same issue from Helpdesk and they told this thread here. I have same issue and I noticed this after I had used automatic upload from several devices to OneDrive cloud. Now all images are in one OneCloud folder and and that's messed me here because devices should be separately in OneDrive. I really want that will be noted soon, so I don't need to check other alternatives.

Like many, many people I have multiple portable devices (iPhone and iPad) which have the ability to take photos. I only have & need one Microsoft account.
I'm told the only solution at the moment is to have multiple Microsoft accounts!!! Why??!!
It would be some much simpler if we were given the ability to setup sub folders to backup the camera roll.
Clearly it's an option that users have wanted for many, many years.Oh, this is fun! How absurd, I have to use my Facebook account to post a request on a OneDrive User forum! Why not my OneDrive account??

Ridiculous. This whole user voice thing is a joke. This function has been demanded for 5 years and MS just gave an lame response instead of addressing the need supported by 3xxx votes. MS you can just stop pretending to be caring about users’ opinions. I guess you just lost another subscription in me! Guys, let’s change to other cloud providers!

I guess they don't allow this to avoid several people using 1 account ?

It’s been five years. My dear knowledgeable admin, the procedure of introducing this feature to public version must be very complicated. As users, we are looking forward to get your reply.

Personally, I like my camera role to be merged, so if this becomes a thing, I would like it to be available through a settings change.

Not having this option available is the only thing stopping me from buying onedrive subscription. Please add, this is quite basic stuff.

This suggestion/requirement seems to have going on for almost 5 yrs. That's a lot of thinking - meantime how many users has OneDrive lost?

Yes. could you make an update about that. I've been syncing my photos in my iPad and my iPhone. But i dont want them to put in a single place/folder. I find it inconvenient since i have to go through all the folders just to find a photo. Thanks

I find it absurd that I pay for this storage and yet I still have to go in and organize thousands of photos because the OneDrive app won't sync my picture folders AS THEY ARE on my phone.
Seeing as this is clearly never going to happen, does anyone know what cloud storage app DOES sync the photo albums on your android phone properly to the cloud storage, as opposed to syncing all the photos but them all going into the cloud storage under album camera roll (vs. album screenshots, album memes, etc.)?

Any idea when this feature could be implemented? Seems there is a lot of demand for it. I would love to automatically upload my photos to my personal folder and my daughters to her own folder. Can't be that difficult can it? Does Google support this feature?
