Separate folders for each device backing up to the camera roll
If you have multiple devices that would take advantage of the camera roll there should be an option to put them in separate folders. IE if you have an android phone, ipad, etc each device should be given the opportunity to use a subfolder (Camera roll\ipad and Camera roll\android)

We’re interested in improving the experience for users of camera upload to OneDrive. Looking at better ways to organize and structure the files is an important aspect. No other updates right now.

This would be useful from a business perspective. It is ridiculous enough that we cannot back up photos from office tablets to OneDrive for Business without having a personal account connected, but to not be able to select the folders that the uploads get directed to? Ridiculous. Not everyone is willing or able to spend time faffing around trying to sort out where things should go.

Like this idea. Multiple devices all duping photos into the same folder can be a pain in the rear sometimes. Would be great to be able to designate a sub-folder per device if desired.

I need this two, it is absolutely ridiculous that a paid for cloud service does not have this feature.

Have the device as a "property" on the file insted and then just make the "folder" a Group by Device. It could be one thing in OneDrive and "act" as a folder for legacy applications or Products.
LETS GET RID OF THE OLD FOLDERS and get in to property grouping and filtering.

I'd like this feature. I am going crazy trying to figure out which uploaded picture is from which device. Thanks.

we hear you and we're starting to look at this? over two years ago? i'm not aware of any progress, so it would appear that you "hear us" but aren't interested in doing what we suggest.

Customer Care,
Please include the above popular request by adding function to select folders for uploading photos from multiple devices. It is high time now to include a simple function -

I would definitely love to see this, as for thinking Microsoft is just ignoring peoples request, I doubt that as think of how big the company is and the number of requests/demands the world is submitting. I am sure there is some sort of queue and I would think commenting on feature posts like this would help push this particular request further in the list. =)

I can't believe simple functionality like this isn't available on OneDrive. Horrible customer service by Microsoft. I really want the ability to have a separate folder for my camera roll and a separate folder for my wife's. Come on Microsoft, this is basic.

HELLO
CAN YOU PLEASE ALLOW EACH DEVICE TO CHOOSE UPLOAD FOLDER. AS IT IS NOW, AFTER HAVING BOUGHT 1 TB OF SPACE WITH YOUR ****** SERVICE, THE WHOLE FAMILY UPLOADS INTO 1 MAJOR STREAM. HOW THE **** ARE WE SUPPOSED TO SORT THIS OUT? IF DROPBOX, GOOGLE DRIVE CAN ADD A FUNCTION 'SELECT UPLOAD FOLDER' YOU SHOULD MANAGE AS WELL? -

SOLUTION*************
Im using a third party app (CameraSync::iOS) to sync my photos/videos from each device to a specific folder. Its a shame that the Microsoft team cares so little to add a folder path field for the camera uploads... For me thats what ill be using until my one drive storage expires then I am NOT renewing my service.

PLEASE ALLOW EACH MOBILE APP TO SELECT THE FOLDER... WE NEED SEPARATE FOLDERS FOR EACH DEVICE!
My devices photos are all bunched into one camera roll and its a nightmare to sort them out
