Please port the functionality of https://onedrive.uservoice.com/forums/262982-onedrive/suggestions/8888062-onedrive-files-on-demand to Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 2008 and 2012.1,159 votes
We have brought Files on-Demand to macOS, but will not be bringing it to earlier versions of Windows. There is a separate UserVoice entry for VDI, please vote in that entry for any VDI related scenario.
I know this has been suggested before but the voting was closed.
Many workplaces have a mixed deployment and would find it useful to sync across various platforms. I use Mac, Windows and Linux every day and I'm sure that many other professionals do too. It can't be that hard to recompile the OSX version for Linux, can it?585 votes
Unfortunately we don’t have any plans to make a native Linux sync client for OneDrive at this time.
I use Onedrive for many things, including for hosting my music on the cloud. It allows me to quickly download some music on my phone from the cloud. Today I realised that it is not possible to download a folder from the WP app, only files. So in my example, I had to open the folder (an album), to select all the songs in it, then to download it.
Not a big deal, but it made me realize it would be an easy improvement to allow the user to download the folder directly.298 votes8 comments · Windows Store App (Xbox, PC, Mobile, Hololens, Surface Hub) · Flag idea as inappropriate… · Admin →
We don’t have any plans to bring the offline folders feature to the UWP app at this time.
