Make OneDrive 64 bit!
Make Onedrive 64 bit! Simple as that! 32 bit Onedrive process on 64 bit OS in 2016 is simply unacceptable!
We’re currently validating the 64-bit version of OneDrive internally. We have not yet started rolling it out to public rings. Stayed tuned for more info soon!
não tem versão 64 bits, absurdo!

The CPU load being imposed by OneDrive 32 bit at startup, even on my i7 laptop with 12Gb RAM, is slowing down startup markedly these days. A 64 bit version is urgently needed to optimise the application's resource usage. The last Admin response was over a year ago - this seems a long delay for a product of real benefit, far more so than much of what has appeared in the last year's Windows releases. This should really be prioritised now, it's been far far too long in coming.

@admin, what's the status on 64bit? any timelines?
Limiting to only 300K files supported (even though the site says it is only a recommendation and not a limit and only able to use <4GB of RAM because it is a 32-bit process and crashing due to large number of folders/files is unacceptable. Microsoft in over a year since it was "In the Plans" still hasn't delivered or updated us on the status.

I cannot believe in this century, let alone decade Microsoft are still releasing 32bit code!
Any progress with this feature?
Is there an insider/beta of OneDrive x64 (not business) to try? I'm interested.
Why are there still 32-bit versions of anything....

I really don't understand why this application does not follow Windows performance guidelines.
It only runs on one thread, is very unresponsive, and is still 32bit somehow.

Hello Admin, is there a status update :)
WHERE THE **** IS 64 BIT????

What is the latest update on Onedrive 64bit.

1 year since the last update on this, can you give us another update?

2001, Microsoft convert their apps to 64 bit (XP era). 2008 is the last windows server version to support 32 bit. In 2010 Microsoft depreciated compiler warnings for 64 bit, 2013 removed them totally. Sept 2013 Apple release iOS 7 and 64 bit phone, dropping support for 32 bit.
Who wrote this piece of 32 bit “high startup load” QT junk?

3rd highest suggestion yet no action after over 4 years. Doesn't matter how many other features you add if the application doesn't work.
when is it gonna be released?
just sad... this thread is from 2016, now 4 1/2 years later no news.

Yes please bring it on as soon as possible.
