Make OneDrive 64 bit!
Make Onedrive 64 bit! Simple as that! 32 bit Onedrive process on 64 bit OS in 2016 is simply unacceptable!

We’re currently validating the 64-bit version of OneDrive internally. We have not yet started rolling it out to public rings. Stayed tuned for more info soon!

What is the rollout date for a 64 bit OneDrive?
This is apparently 3-4 years old as an issue.
Are we ever going to get it or is the stalling just that? -

Is it really hard to recompile OneDrive in 64 bit?

I agree. Make it not only 64-bit, but ARM64 in addition.

Unbelievable that a 64bit version of OneDrive is still missing. 32bit is slow, often incompatible and the support of Microsoft is unable to provide a solution.

The CPU load being imposed by OneDrive 32 bit at startup, even on my i7 laptop with 12Gb RAM, is slowing down startup markedly these days. A 64 bit version is urgently needed to optimise the application's resource usage. The last Admin response was over a year ago - this seems a long delay for a product of real benefit, far more so than much of what has appeared in the last year's Windows releases. This should really be prioritised now, it's been far far too long in coming.
