Make OneDrive 64 bit!
Make Onedrive 64 bit! Simple as that! 32 bit Onedrive process on 64 bit OS in 2016 is simply unacceptable!

Crazy that a third party can make a cross platform 62 bit client but the one provided by MS is only 32 bit.

OneDrive Sync client 32 bit version is malfunctioning and I often have to restart it to open documents. So it does not "work perfectly on both 32 bit and 64 bit operating systems" like it is proclaimed in the MS Answers site. Please take care. I upvote 64 bit version, happy New 2021!

OneDrive version 20.249.1210.0001 is a leaked Version. Yes, it comes with 64 Bit. But here https://bit.ly/3nkYIy8 I explain, why you should "not" install this Version
Can you hurry up?

Is there anything we need to do to get the 64 bit version? Any beta we can join to assist you in development or getting it ready?
It's been over a year since you've been planning this. It should have been done in 2017. Come on! This is absolutely unacceptable from one of the biggest tech companies in the world. I'm seriously considering dropping Office and switching to Google.
OneDrive is unusable on my Laptop - severly hangs up the System - might change with 64bit.
Also - unacceptable that this essential MS-Software is still on 32bit. I dont want to see any 32bit Apps coming with Windows anymore,...
Make OneDrive 64 bit!
Crazy that MS apps still have any Office apps running 32-bit at this point. The fact this has been open since 2016 is pretty alarming.

Is Microsoft out of its mind. Have not seen 32bit in a while. Why is onedrive 32bit

OneDrive and Office x32 are now causing other programs to have issues. AutoCAD Electric 2021 wouldn't install because it detected that OneDrive and Office are 32-bit. I had to uninstall OneDrive and Office to install AutoCAD Electric. I will have to do the same for any user that needs to install AutoCAD electric for there job.
I can reinstall Office as x64 but not OneDrive x64 because it doesn't exist. If OneDrive x32 causes AutoCAD Electric to not launch then that causes problems with users accessing there data. All this could be avoided if Office and OneDrive were installed x64 standard, like they should be.
This project needs to be bumped up from a "someday" project to a "today" project.
so is there a timeline. onedrive is woeful
No limit of data objects (as I have read limit to 300'000). Faster synchronization. My customer data of 600GB takes 64 hours!
Dropbox is much better.
What is the hold up here MSFT?

What is the rollout date for a 64 bit OneDrive?
This is apparently 3-4 years old as an issue.
Are we ever going to get it or is the stalling just that?
It's a Shame ! Give us the 64-bit version ! And stop limiting the synchronization performance of your Datacenters, invest !!!
