Better handle invalid characters
When OneDrive fails to sync files because of unsupported characters, instead of just telling us to delete the files, it should
1. Inform us of which characters are responsaible for the failure
2. Offer to rename the files, and (optionnally) all the future ones with the same problem, by either deleting the unsupported characters or replacing them by the characters at the user's choice.

Onedrive is useless until i can handle special chars I'm not gonna manually rename hundreds of files. Dropbox here i come i guess :|
Come on fix this!!!!

The fact that OneDrive cannot handle certain characters in filenames is understandable and acceptable. The fact that absolutely no means is provide to identify those files is not. It is egregious and frustrating. Fix this, Microsoft!
OneDrive is offered as a solution across platforms.
Hence the software's design is to store all data of the disk formats the target platforms support. macOS supports many, including HFS+ and AppleFS.
As these disk formats support special signs (such as slash, backslash, colon) the OneDrive solution needs to support these files too. Microsoft's file systems will benefit from getting more supportive in not restricting users to a system limitation introduced in the early 1990s.
OneDrive informs me about 400 invalid file names which are all over the place... I am down now to just 20 after clicking on each individual file...
It also does not update the list once you are done cleaning up the file names. Which is a mess since some files might be in the same location and you would correct them all together. So only after pausing an restarting the sync (which again takes ages) will it update the list...
Please allow at least editing or deleting files from this notification list!

Yes people are constantly asking me how to fix their sync and i have to specifically tell them "take out the #"

I agree, there should be an option to automatically remove invalid characters as setting option.
