Stop counting previous versions, recycle bin, and icons against storage limits
Things like previous versions, files in the recycle bin, and the icons that are generated in the online portal should not be counted against your total storage size. We enforce a storage limit as we have many PC's in our environment that cannot yet take advantage of files on demand and it's hard to explain to users why they need to clean up their files when if you only counted the size of the file it would be under the limit. OneDrive also creates icons for each file to be viewed in the online portal. It can be 15MB per PowerPoint file which creates a challenge for users with many PowerPoint files.

This is a great suggestion! It's so difficult to help users plan their migration around the following statement: "Your files will use more than they currently do. We can't know how much, and you only get 20GB of space. Good luck!". In our case, our users cannot all take advantage of files-on-demand so we have to use a small quota for now. Looking forward to this being implemented!
