Map onedrive as network drive
it will be great to have the possibility to map onedrive as network drive to your PC
Which will help to save time and data in your PC, because as you Sync the files take times and also consumed your memory
I hope allow this feature ASAP

We are looking to utilise VDI - and we have users using OneDrive - which syncs with local C drive on their Laptops.
if we allow onddrive on VDI this will make the user provises massive.
is it still not possible to set your synce folder to be on the network? this would mean when they are in VDI its syncs with network drive and not virual profile.

This feature would be practical within a school environment. We have removed our local file servers and placed all data in OneDrive or SharePoint. We then use AD connect SSO to auto sign users into OneDrive and files on demand. For OneDrive files this works great, but when it comes to auto syncing SharePoint libraries, it takes up to 8 hours to appear, This is not practical for an hours lesson. If there was a way to map OneDrive or a SharePoint library into a mapped drive without using Web Dav, I feel students would benefit and be more onboard with using cloud technology and avoid having to pay a 3rd party supplier to provide a service like this. 3 votes from me.
Cheers

This feature will be great if available, will avoid
1. unnecessary syncs for nodes computer
2. keep all files in only one place.
3. avoid duplication
4. Save time
5. Easy to share from one location
6. avoid taking backup -

Any possiblity of adding Onedrive to the netwrok drive. This will avoid the need for keeping onedrive folder locally in each of the netwrok computers which use up a lot of storage in individual computers.

This is required for programmatic access to OneDrive files where the client cannot be installed yet WIndows authentication can be leveraged to keep scripts simple.

I would love my students to be able to map their home drives to one drive. With a traditional ad environment users have a home drive mapped to a server and a profile path mapped to a server. This change would allow me to get the students home drive into one drive for remote access. If I install the one drive sync tool at the moment, I would need a local HD added, with enough space to theoretical cover all the users who use the machine, so 300tb drive times 400 machines. Not possible.

One can map a drive letter to Office 365 OneDrive (personal/home only; not corporate/enterprise). See https://youtu.be/NI0g0gwzRpY

This would be great to do ASAP and also, once Windows updates, we don't have to set up our network sharing all over again. I find that everytime Windows updates I have to set up my network sharing on all of my computers again and this is very frustrating since Windows updates so often.

This is already a thing, for years!!! Make it work properly so i can see my entire 1 tb allocation, not just 237 gb.

This idea has been put forward in several different ideas. Can they not combine them as it will never get 500 votes.
For us this is essential for an education scenario where Onedrive is used on a shared computer so that all OneDrive user files are not stored on the C: drive which could be a security issue. Also for users who roam between computers it would mean their Onedrive downloaded files are just stored on one network share and do not have to be downloaded on each computer they logon to. -
