Do not show error messages for excluded filetypes
When I exclude filetypes from syncing (using Admin center or Set-SPOTenantSyncClientRestriction) they are marked as "file could not be synced". This is also shown by a red cross.
This behavior confuses Users that think that there is a real problem and furthermore makes it impossible for unqualified users to distinguished between this "by design" errors and real problems
So please do not show error messages for excluded filetypes or deliver an option for disabling these Error messages.
Excuded file types should just not not sync and have no sub icon at all. i.e no red x, no cloud, no green check.
We block executables and the like and shortcut files from syncing and this causes lots of support calls when the user uses backup my files to OneDrive Feature.
Not sure why someone would choose the same icon as an error, or show this files is excluded by the admin as an error.

Fix this please. Why on earth would this show as an error?

This seems like a perfect solution. People in our organization complain about this as well.
This is so annoying that you need to stop the synchronisation. What's the point then using OneDrive?
