Syncing over LAN
This would allow multiple PCs / Devices with the same OneDrive account to sync over the local LAN network. This makes a huge difference when setting a new PC (or restoring one) as you can transfer 100's of gigs over the LAN much faster and without impacting your Internet bandwidth cap.
We don’t have a timeline yet but it’s still on our radar.

Please do this, I share my internet with other tenants and this makes me be super mindful about my usage, this would fix it all and let me sync my files faster.
As someone who got a new PC last month and didn’t think about the size of all the data in my OneDrive until after I blew through my ISP’s bandwidth cap, a local sync option would have saved me $30 in overage fees last month, as all that data was on another computer on my LAN already. This is the one thing I miss from Dropbox, please consider adding it to OneDrive.

I'm looking forward to sign office 365 home and I would like that onedrive sync over like Dropbox does. To me, this is the only negative point to the onedrive compared to dropbox.
This is crucial and currently (bandwidth!) the reason, why our IT department decides for dropbox although we are o365 customer.
Please make OneDrive great again and fix this!

Can you please make it very very very high on your list. Next would be nice in fact ;)

This is a feature that Dropbox has and would REALLY be appreciated on OneDrive.
This should definitely be a lot higher on Microsoft's priority list. This request is years in the making now.
It would also be helpful if LAN Sync applied when different Office365 accounts within an organization are syncing the same SharePoint Library.
Our company just upgraded to Office 2013 and the OneDrive stopped syncing across multiple users. I can save files and it shows green dots but other employees can't see it
No more news since 4 years ? We planned to replace standard in-house FS with a Sharepoint/One drive entreprise but the lan sync functionality is mandatory!
I can't imagine have 15 users syncing 5 GB each via Internet....
I would like this feature too. Typical home download speeds from the internet are getting higher, but upload remains around 10Mbs. When using OneDrive as my main Documents folder, locally syncing between my laptop and desktop would be a huge benefit. As I type this I'm waiting for 13GB of files to upload just so I can access them on the other machine. Because it is in Dropbox I sort of expected it to be part of OneDrive and disappointed to find it's not already here.
LAN sync is a definite requirement when installing OneDrive on a new computer in my home. I do not want to download 100's of GB from the Internet when it could just transfer from another local PC.
Agreed this would be a hugely useful feature. Especially for large files.
3 votes from me for this essential feature. This is what users make using dropbox instead of onedrive.

This is absolutely essential. We have just moved to OneDrive (from Dropbox) as a corporation and the lack of LAN sync is a huge downside.

Hi is this feature being considered? I know in 2014 you said that it wasn't high on your priority, but hopefully things have changed in the last 4 years.
Strange that this option is default for many other cloud services... and not for OneDrive :-(
I need it too
