Add support for authenticated proxies
The OneDrive desktop client currently doesn't work on networks with authenticated proxies. This makes OneDrive useless in these kinds of environments.
Thanks for the suggestion & feedback.

What kind of business software is it, that does not support proxies with authentication? This is an absolute NO GO!
speaking for a public sector entity from Switzerland - absolutely mandatory as we run a proxied corporate environment.
Somebody should sue YOU! For selling a product without a feature which is a safety requirement for any real organization
This needs to be **&%^ FIXED ASAP or FULL a list of URL's provided so we can exclude OneDrive4B from being proxied.

Any update on this? This can be a showstopper and as others said: Other MSFT applicatiosn have that functionality, where you could borrow the implementation from
Apart from the truly shameful attention for so long to a crucial customer need, I'm also baffled by the fact that my OneNote notebook on my OneDrive cloud storage DOES synchronize through my work network. Go figure!
I support his. Spent hours trying to install only to get the message that I need to talk to my Network Administrator.... DropBox has a proxy config panel and it works.
I cannot believe that sync driver.com is better and with more features than a Microsoft product.
But I'm using a Mac under proxy Lan.
This feature is too important for business user
Our corporate Lan is using an authenticated proxies to control internet traffic. If you don't support this feature you cannot use Onedrive. I believe that a lot of companies has the same problem.
On the other hand Dropbox support the proxy configuration.
Is the problem fixed?
We have also reported the issue in Visual Studio years ago. It cannot check the license behind authenticated proxies and it will report the error of "Proxy Authorization Required", but there has no way to provide proxy information for it. We have enter the proxy in IE, and also save the authentication information, it still cannot fix the problem.
It seems to be a common "feature" in Microsoft products, you should not use it behind proxy.
Maybe, those developers in Microsoft still not aware that proxy authentication is required in most companies' proxy server.

This issue is not present in the Windows 8.1 version of OneDirve, and besides one of the main reasons i am not migrating to Windows 10 with my Surface Pro like i did with my notebook, because otherwise i would have no access to my work files both ath home and in the office because my office has proxy authentication

Hi there, I find it unbelievable that such a feature is not available yet! We are on Dropbox and were considering a change, but OneDrive simply does not work in our environment...
Is there a road map or rough time plan for this feature?

Jason, as a Principal Consultant, I work with many enterprise customers that use proxies to restrict web browsing to unsafe/productivity wasting/obscene sites. The lack of support for this is causing a fear of Office 365/Windows 10 migrations for my customers. Please take this issue seriously and get this into a release soon.
É uma pena, isso acaba limitando a utilização desta ferramenta. :(
hi you can install onedrive on pc that access internet then share onedrive folder on your lan, so every one can use that folder over lan and internet everywhere.
This is ridiculous.
I have the same issue, and cannot believe this is true.
I guess a lot of persons have this issue?

Please ensure this works on a Mac behind a proxy too.
