Option to select folder on local pc to sync
OneDrive doesn't have the option to select folders on local pc to sync to the cloud, only the default folder it created upon using it for the first time. Please make this option available so users can select the folder of their choice to sync to OneDrive. Regards

It's a stupid limitation to be honest, of course we should be able to sync any folder of our choice (within the measly limit of 5Gb).

I completely agree with this, to be honest this is a basic function of a standard Cloud Service. You should have the freedom to manually select which folders are being automatically backed up to the OneDrive Account, without the need of relocating your folders into the OneDrive folder.
All this does is mess up the folder structure on windows 10. Not only this, but if you have multiple Hard Drives with Multiple Folders, you should simply be able to point OneDrive to them so it can back them up, there is no point having everything duplicated into the OneDrive folder, you are then taking up additional storage space.

I agree with the requirement that OneDrive be able to sync folders outside the three categories currently specified. But as importantly, the documentation should be updated to more clearly specify that, currently, the sync capability is limited to these three folders. It is very confusing when they ask you to specify individual folders but do not clearly state that these folders must be in one of the three categories.

YES! This is a feature that would greatly enhance the usability of OneDrive. The workaround of putting the folder into an existing default folder creates file path issues for the projects I work on and is not really an option.

I can't believe this is not possible. Google Drive allows this 🙄

I can see Microsoft now allows us to backup Desktop, Documents and Pictures folders but its restricted to these folders. It would be awesome if I can choose any local folder and hit "Sync" so that it would simply linked to OneDrive.

Several backup applications I've worked with, allow users to select folders of their choice, wherever they are. No matter if folders are not in C:\. OneDrive is the ONLY ONE I know with this restriction! This is something that must be solved ASAP!
