Allow the mac version to install OneDrive folder at removable disk
A lot of macs have expensive and limited SSDs and it would be convenient to be able to put the OneDrive folder at a external drive.
Thanks for the suggestion.

This needs to be added. MS needs to support their products better and give the users what they need. Every other service can do this except onedrive which a pay a premium for.
This is possible now. You just need to do this, when installing / connecting the account the first time. A feature like in Dropbox or Adobe CC to be able to move the folder would be nice also.
I just bought a 256G flash disk for my MacBook because it's only has a 128G SSD, and I can't install OneDrive folder at the flash disk now, it's a terrible problem, how could i do with it?
This is a much needed feature, since drive space is a premium on apple products. This will definitely drive adoption of 1 drive even higher.
When my MacOS High Sierra external drive containing the OneDrive folder gets disconnected, there is a severe memory leak when the app resynchronises; grows by approximately 1GB for every 20 files, yes thats one Gig for every Twenty files.
As I have about sixty thousand files, this means repeatedly stopping and restarting the app, given it consumes so much memory, and swap that no other application functions

Would like to sync Onedrive selectively with some folders on my MACbook hard drive and some folders on an external drive connected to my MacBook. Can this be done? Apparently not, so I will continue to use Google drive where you can do this.

How many more votes in order for it to become a OneDrive feature for Mac? Please advise.

how is it possible that EVERY time my external drive gets disconnected from the computer, i have to scan the ENTIRETY of my OneDrive files again next time I boot up?! This takes 6-7 hours before ANYTHING can get synced from my external drive again! That's seriously unacceptable.
i need so much this function, please!
Hey Jason we don't know if you use MBP but some MBP have low SSD Disk that full at moment to sync with our one drive cloud. I though it's moment to work not?
Why can't I put the folder where I want?

Truly just keep it in the cloud like Google Drive File Stream

Yes, we need this function right now
Its been 4 years, how the **** has this not been implemented yet.

Please implement this option ASAP. If we could do this I'd implement OneDrive for all our staff and students immediately. Without this option it is not feasible to use Onedrive in our school environment.
Need to have this feature in a day and age where removable storage is so cheap, yet Apple charge a fortune for additional storage
Would also like to be able have alternate sync locations for shared folders and not the entire package.
Please guys, can;'t be that difficult!
All the other major players have it right!
I´m a pro user of OneDrive. Please include this feature. The Ssd of MacBook Air isn't enough!
OneDrive has some opportunities, now it has the on-demand feature on Mac that is huge for many users, also it has price advantage compare to
Dropbox's on-demand feature. Now Microsoft really needs to address some issue like this that exist a long time to win more users.
