Allow Renaming Local Folder
Allow renaming the local folder so the OneDrive folder name doesn't always turn out so long (especially if you have Office 365 at work). "Your Name - Your Employer's Name" doesn't look good in the Finder sidebar.
It's not only about renaming, it's also about the location of the OneDrive folders itself. I want to have to option to have them in a subfolder of my home directory.
The worst for me is that the current folder names contain spaces and are way too long. Main reasons for this is working on the shell (zsh/bash) where all the whitespaces have to be escaped.
The home directory is my territory, and I don't wan't an application to define my folders have to look like.

I use OneDrive from my university staff account on my MacBook with Mac OS 15. The OneDrive application automatically creates and uses a folder called "OneDrive - xxxxxxxxxxx University" without the option/preference to rename. This creates issues when using the terminal to transfer data into this directory as the white space needs to be escaped, or it creates multiple arguments and then chaos and anarchy. Please give an option to adjust the default name, or make the default name without special characters, and shorter. Thanks
Yes - also an issue with Personal and SharePoint OneDrives account linked to a business - it's not clear which is which - other than my Personal OneDrive has "OneDrive - " prefixed. This isn't helpful. It's confusing. Sort this out, please.
