  1. "Block download" option for files shared via external link, but at the same time, allow for editing in browser.

    Allow users with access via external link to edit files on browser, but also prevent them from downloading files via "block download" option enabled. This can ensure files with PII or other sensitive data shared, remains on company's onedrive and improves data compliance, especially in light of recent consumer data privacy rights (CCPA, GDPR, etc...).

  5. Password of shared files in OneDrive for Business

    Similar to OneDrive-Personal it would be great if the "Set a password" feature on shared files (https://support.office.com/en-us/article/share-onedrive-files-and-folders-9fcc2f7d-de0c-4cec-93b0-a82024800c07#OSType=OneDrive-_Personal) could be included in OneDrive for Business please.

    Display company policy message: Is there a way to create a company policy message (eg, "Records and information stored in OneDrive is for Business use only...."?). on the header of OneDrive? It's important to display the company policy so users know that OneDrive is not for personal use.

  8. OneDrive Personal Vault Needs To Allow Users To Lengthen 20 Minute Limit

    Uploading large files like videos and other files is impossible when there is a 20 minute limit and it keeps timing out. OneDrive shows the drive is Inactive when in fact it is still active then I have to keep logging in. I spent days trying to upload files and it keeps logging out if I don't select to continue. If I am away from the computer it will log out and I don't even know it has been idle and not uploading.

    Why does OneDrive consider it idle and inactive when it is trying to upload then the 20…

    这边了解到之前客户使用vpn可以打开链接
    非常抱歉,关于onedrive网页端打不开的问题,这边的话没有权限处理的
    多次联系支持拒绝处理该问题,并称一经售出是无法退款。支持并不处理问题。我认为它有严重的渎职行为。应该被解雇。

    OneDrive アプリの "オフラインで利用可能にします" 機能でファイルをダウンロードしているのに、同じ端末で Office アプリから同じファイルを開く際に再度ダウンロードが必要となる。
    本動作ではファイルを開くまでに時間がかかり、端末の容量の負担も大きいため、1 度のダウンロードで各アプリからファイルを開けるよう機能を改善して欲しい。​
    I used the OneDrive apps' "Make Available Offline" feature to download files, but for some reason when I use the Office app on the same machine to open those same files, I need to download them again.
    This operation takes up time until the files can be opened, and makes the machine use up excessive memory as well. So please improve this function to open files from each application after downloading them just once.

    I can create personal report by using "Run Shared Reports" in "OneDrive Settings", but cannot export per tenant.

  13. Unable to delete folders if contains files

    Cannot delete folder in Onedrive. We receive error message "You have to delete all the items in this folder before you can delete the folder".

    Got update that DLP policy or Retention policy is causing this issue

    Currently there are only 2 ways of deleting version history, which is to delete everything, or to delete versions individually one by one, thus we hope that users can choose the versions and then bulk delete those choices all at once.

  17. Add 'track changes'/'suggestions mode' for Word Online

    In Google Drive, we can share a file in 'comments' mode in which other users can make suggestions to the file BUT only the owner can accept or rejects them. It is pretty much how Word works when the 'track changes' option is enabled.

    In OneDrive and Word Online, we can either share files with full edit rights or no edit right at all - this, makes collaboration work pretty much impossible in certain scenarios.

    同期フォルダーの状態が全て"同期済み" となっているが、同期クライアントが"処理中です" の状態は、ユーザーが同期の確認をする際に同期フォルダーと OneDrive for Business との同期が完了していると誤認識してしまう恐れがあるため、わかりやすい表示に変更を希望いたします。

    When all the sync folders are in “Synced” status but at the same time the sync client is in “Working on it” status, it seems like the sync between sync folder and OneDrive for Business have already completed and it might confuse users.
    For that reason, please change the descriptions of the status to more user friendly and understandable.

    現状 SharePoint Online のライセンスを持たないユーザーであっても、OneDrive for Business 画面から共有ライブラリが利用できてしまう。
    ・ライセンス規約上利用を禁止するのであれば、OneDrive for Business 画面から共有ライブラリに関しての表示をなくしてほしい、もしくはアクセスできないようにしてほしい。
    ・上記が不可能な場合、ライセンス規約上利用ができない根拠や経緯を示す公開情報を作成してほしい。

    Now users who do not have SharePoint Online license can use the shared library from the OneDrive for Business screen.
