Automatically empty the Recycle Bin after a certain time (or storage) limit
I tend to get a lot of files in my OneDrive Recycle Bin, most of which I had intended to delete permanently. It would be nice if I could set my Recycle Bin to automatically empty itself after a certain time (or storage) limit.
It would be important for the user to be able to configure the recycle bin when he wants the files to be permanently deleted.
This is especially important against inadvertent file deletion.

My OneDrive only holds backups!
Once a backup set has been deleted, I do not need it again...
At the moment, I have to manually empty my Recycle bin as well as the Secondary one...
It will be very nice if I can set the Recycle Bin to a size, which will keep recent files, and delete the old ones...
Or automate the retention settings accordingly..
yes - great idea

the most stupid is when you install windows you have a warning to install or update onedrive, and it gets files without your knowladge, then when you realise you delete them and they stay in reccycle anyway, and no way to delete them...
agreed, should be able to configure when to delete the files.
I agree... I know that items will only stay in the Recycle Bin for 30 days but it would be nice to have the option on automatically empting itself every day, or once a week, etc. This is a much needed feature. Please add it
