Sort by date taken
My photos are not shown in their files in chronological order. This is because they a sorted by dated uploaded instead of date taken. This is extremely frustrating, please change the way these are shown.
It is pretty stupid not sort by date taken! Without it your photos are in random order

I upload photos from my camera as well as my phone (which is set to upload photos automatically). Consequently, photos that I may have taken on the same day as those on my phone (or older photos that I now wish to upload to OneDrive) are all categorised by date uploaded. It then proves very difficult to search/sort photos. This would be a huge improvement. As a alternative, even if Microsoft can provide an easy way for users to override the (default) upload date with the date the photo was taken would be a lot better - and as an option to change the categorisation of the thousands of photos that I will now just have to upload in one go!

Technically its VERY simple to do this, providing EXIF data exists and the date taken field is populated (and not by 1970-01-01) it could be parsed and used as the sorting data in preference to the file created date.
This functionality has existed in Windows Explorer for years and should be "relatively" trivial to do on OneDrive if the data is parsed and exposed to the rest of the app on upload.
Possibly it might create a little extra processing lag during upload, but I think it's worth doing, even if there's a secondary process that loads the metadata after the initial upload completes (not familiar with Onedrive's internals so I'm guessing).so that this data is available later for sorting when the folder is viewed.
