Show captions on photos in shared albums
I have added captions to the photos in a fairly large album, thinking that when I shared it with others they would see them. But the only way that they can see them is by opening the information pane on each photo.
Captions are a vital part of sharing photos. They should be visible:
1) In the slide show
2) On each full screen photo, with an option to turn them off
3) On the thumbnail screen, perhaps as tool tips
Wanted to provide an update: there are no specifics we can share about this request, but I will share with our team who is thinking through the next set of photo investments so this can influence their planning process. Thank you.

Yes, it's a real dilemma! In list-view, you can't see the thumbails but the filenames, in tile-view, you can't see the filenames and only thumbnails.

This needs to happen. There is no point in me continuing to use onedrive if shared folders don't include the caption info. I need to find a different solution.

100% support this
Yes, I've currently added my captions as part of the photo's file name. So the ability to see the file name of a picture while viewing the slideshow and thumbnails would be great too.

I strongly agree. I just wrote OneDrive about the same issue. Thanks.
